Meltwich Food Co. Regina (Grasslands) - Regina

One of our favourite places to grab a bite whenever we are in Regina. Family friendly with lots to choose from. Godfather sandwich is awesome.

Really good. Great place. The other time I went here I got the Reese milkshake and it was incredible.

Amazing food. Fantastic service. The lady working tonight was very friendly and kept up with the Friday rush. I don't think many people could have done as good of a job as she did!

Order online and was very impressed with what we received! Tomato bisque is super yummy(would love to have a vegan option... But kinda glad I didn't have to share) Burgers were very juicy with a very fresh bun, from the first bite you could tell there were very little to no fillers added to the meat. We got the vegan mushroom poutine and it had the most amazing gravy, was surprised it came in a tall soup cup but after getting half way through I wish more places packaged it like this! Last was the Garden bowl, (it's basically a salad with salsa and guacamole) we picked the peach dressing. The salad did not even need the dressing the salsa and guac being more than enough fresh and very delicious... I didn't love the peach dressing with the Garden bowl, but I loved it for itself! I wish there was a simple salad with apples or something on the menu which would match the flavors of the peach dressing, because as it stands I would buy a bottle of this dressing outright if I could! Will definately be back!

The smoke stack Philly cheese steak is single handedly the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten! I liked it so much I immediately came back and ordered another one to eat later tonight. Friendly staff and delicious food. I highly recommend eating here!

This was our second visit to Meltwich and the food was awesome. If you love a really, gooey, melty grilled cheese sandwich, this is the place. They have quite a few different sandwiches and they also serve Mac and Cheese bites which are delicious. The burgers are also very good. The fries are to die for. Crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside. We will be back.

AVOID IF YOU ARE MUSLIM OR VEGAN/VEGETARIAN. Very disappointed with false advertising and customer service. They have HUGE posters both on the window and in store saying they serve halal and vegan. My mother asked if they have separate cooking surfaces for those options, and the employee rudely responded saying they cook it on the same area as other meat, including bacon. If you are claiming to serve halal meat but then cooking it on the same surface you just grilled bacon on, it is NOT halal anymore!! You just cooked it in bacon juices! Same goes for someone wanting a vegan meal. When my mother expressed her frustration seeing as we had eaten here before, trusting their signage to be correct, the employee was VERY rude and stated “Well we’re not a halal restaurant we just serve halal”. Why do you have giant posters claiming you serve halal/vegan then? To bring in the Muslim and vegan/vegetarian customers only to deceive them? Again, you’re not actually serving halal because it isn’t halal once you cook it on a contaminated service. Either train your staff to actually do the right thing and have different surfaces for different dietary restrictions, or remove the false signage that is deceiving tons of customers. I hope people see this and stop giving you business because I am shocked and appalled that the supposedly halal food I’ve been consuming has probably had traces of bacon in it. Disgusted and will never be coming back. EDIT AFTER RESTAURANT RESPONSE: Yes I’m sure it was the Grasslands location, it’s funny you always ask this question to people who leave bad reviews because you don’t want to own up to your employee’s mistakes. It should be STANDARD that if you are claiming to serve halal it is being cooked on a separate surface than bacon or other meats. It shouldn’t have to be a request that a customer makes. If you claim it is halal, make it right and make it in a way that keeps it halal. That is your responsibility as the restaurant that has a poster saying it’s halal. Dissatisfied with the response and again.. if you’re Muslim or vegan/vegetarian please make sure you’re asking the questions before you eat here because it doesn’t seem to me like the staff cares.

I had never been to Meltwich before and I was greeted with exceptional customer service. The staff were very great at helping me make my choice of what to order. They told me which items were popular and informed me of the daily specials. When I was leaving they cared enough to come out and ask me how my experience was. I do not often leave reviews but I had such a good experience at this Meltwich that I wanted to highlight their excellence. The food was also delicious so I will definitely be returning.
