Megan is such a talented planner. Her creativity comes to life in her decor choices and it is always a pleasure to work with MSW. Her knowledge of what needs to be done to pull of a magnificent wedding is amazing, the attention to detail is what is going to make your day unforgettable. We never hesitate to recommend Megan.

My Wife hired Megan to coordinate our wedding. Though skeptical at first if we actually needed her services my opinion swiftly changed. She handled everything in a prompt and professional manor. She assisted in the set up the changes that occurred the night before and with clean up. Megan came in with her team at nights end and surprised me with how quickly she took everything down. Best of all she knew where everything was. Megan demonstrates extreme value and is worth every nickel.

Megan was hired to do my daughters wedding and there are no words to describe how great it was to have her there. She took care of every detail big or small made sure that the venue was done up beautifully. She is very organized and made what could have been a very stressful day so enjoyable. My daughter and new son in law were able to sit back and enjoy their day without worry. Even with some last minute bridle party changes she handled it. Megan recently helped us with our 2-day wedding event. She kept us on track from the beginning stages of planning to make sure our wedding was perfect. My wife and I hired Megan to help out with our wedding last fall. She was amazing, literally the calm voice of reason and experience that we needed! She had excellent tools for planning day-of-timelines, catching all of the little details that can pile up in the background. She was very responsive and professional in all of her correspondence and was a superguest on the day, the turnaround of our venue from ceremony to reception was flawless. Hearing stories after the wedding about how many fires she was putting out behind the scenes seals the deal, I'd recommend her in a heartbeat.

Megan was an incredible resource for our wedding day. We hired her as our day-of coordinator, and she went above and beyond. She handled every major/minor detail, and left us feeling confident and calm on our wedding day. Megan was available to us the months leading up to our wedding if we had any questions, and she also was present for our dress rehearsal. Lastly, Megan arranged all the decor & rentals we had for the wedding in a gorgeous way - our venue looked stunning thanks to her. It was also great to know that at the end of the night she was there to help organize the tear down of our venue. We would definitely recommend Megan to anyone!

We were so grateful to have Megan as our day-of coordinator. She helped us navigate through two postponements, as well as a change in venue due to covid. She was so helpful during the planning process and made sure our wedding went smoothly.

Megan was truly our wedding fairy godmother – my #1 tip to all friends who are getting married is to have a wedding planner, and for that wedding planner to be Megan. Most people describe wedding planning as a stressful activity, but I never found that to be the case because she took care of everything. She made decision making easy and straight forward, and kept us on track with both timeline and budget. The few small (inevitable) issues that crept up on the day of the wedding, I only found out about after the fact. She planned my wedding with the same care and attention to detail that I imagine she would pay to her own. Thanks to COVID, Megan ended up essentially planning our wedding twice. She stayed on top of the ever-changing government regulations leading up to our event and helped us ensure our guests remained healthy and everyone felt comfortable. She also didn’t charge us anything extra even though I’m sure she ended up working way more hours than she would have if we had been able to stay with our ‘Plan A’ event. That brings me to her rates – they are extremely fair. Any discounts she gets from vendors (in our case this included our DJ, florist, and rentals) she passed on to us. She is active in the Calgary Weddings community and has relationships with a ton of vendors. This allowed her to recommend companies that were pleasant to work with but also reasonably priced and that matched our vision for the event. I could go on but I think you get the idea. I don’t plan on getting married again but am hoping that Megan will venture outside of weddings to help us throw whatever our next event is – probably an anniversary celebration with all our friends and family once the pandemic is over.
