Sort of out in the middle of nowhere but its actually got a pretty nice dock and is quiet and peaceful. Day use area is nice and grassy and really a relaxing place to be.

The day use area had several picnic tables and they were in the shade of trees including Pine and Birch. I was impressed for an out-of-the-way Alberta campsite! There isn't much of a beach except for the bits of sand and stones on either side of the boat launch. This was good enough for my kids, though, as we had most of the area to ourselves since it was mid-week. You can jump off the dock to swim, but know that the water is maybe only 4 feet deep or so there. Quite a few tall weeds. We were also happy to see that even despite covid there was a large cookhouse type building that was available to be used in poor weather. We will be back again, it's a great little spot. It was July 30th, 2020, and there were zero mosquitoes. Amazing.

GREAT Lake view camp site. Sunset is amazing. GREAT campsite for fishermen. It even has fish cleaning station. Perfect place to relax. It is a basic camp site with no service.

If you need a quiet and a bit secluded camping place, this is it. You need to navigate a lot of gravel roads, but it could be worth it.

We travelled all over AB and BC staying in 25 or more different campgrounds and this one was the worst! Dead trees everywhere leaning over campsites making it extremely dangerous for tenters. Road in was so rough it broke some of our dishes, even though we were only going 15kmh. Staff was virtually nonexistent so unable to buy firewood and when you could find staff they did not follow covid protocols. Shut this place down!!!

Gorgeous lake, quiet treed campsites that are very well maintained. Fall asleep to the sounds of loons on the lake.

My fav spot for an ice fish! Beautiful sunsets and a beautiful lake in the summer as well! The staff/caretaker that was there in the summer was very friendly and helpful! Really fun spot!

Great place to camp in the west Central area of Alberta. Have to travel on a bit of gravel to get there, approx 12 km's of it. Lake is a good size. Lots of canoes and kayaks on the lake. Power boats are allowed , but cannot go over 12 km/hr. Fishing is decent, with both Pike and Perch in there. Nice long lake, and in a kayak you would be most of the day going all the way around it. Campsites are pretty decent. Stayed in A5 our selves. Big enough for our 24 ft trailer, and our own private beach access. Has a day use area and a group site as well. Only downside, no power/water sites. Firewood is free. Two hiking trails as well. One ends up on a nice hill over looking the lake.
