I found myself in a bind and stranded with a dead battery at the Erindale GO station. I was able to get a boost and drive my car to mechanicQ Winston Churchill Auto Repair. Even though they were fully booked, Chris and his team of mechanics, Mike and Brady, went above and beyond in the customer service department. They installed a new battery, thoroughly checked my vehicle over, and had me on my way within the hour. Stellar service! As with every visit, the team at mechaniQ, are always professional, courteous, competent and fair. I highly recommend mechaniQ to anyone who requires any automotive service.

I read the glowing reviews of mechaniQ and was excited to give them a try. Both my father and I visited on separate occasions for separate issues. We thought the experience was just OK - a far cry from the great experience reported by others. The digital diagnostic report was really solid and helpful. The prices were fair too. The service was just OK. The advisor gave friendly but short and fairly unhelpful answers. We both felt like we were inconveniencing them by bringing our cars in for repair. My father was sold a defective battery which led to his car failing to start in the cold. The MechaniQ folks maintained that the 'new' battery from them was acceptable and met the bottom end of the specs for his car. He had it replaced at another shop because he was stranded. The mechaniQ team showed no interest in making it right with a credit, battery return or refund. I had communication issues with them. They didn't keep me updated on the progress of my car. It was only when I checked in with them later in the afternoon that they told me they would need it overnight and I would need to make other arrangements. Even then, they seemed inconvenienced by my call. It would have been nice to have this news earlier in the day. I also had an issue where my brake fluid was below the minimum level and their team didn't see it in their inspection. To me, this is a major safety issue. The pickup & drop-off service they advertise wasn't available during any of our visits. It's possible they were just busy or short staffed. Both are major issues for businesses right now. Overall, we weren't impressed. We both felt nervous that their mechanics were as disinterested in their work as the advisors were. If that was the case and important details were overlooked during the repair it could lead to major trouble. We'll be looking for a local shop that makes us feel like they value our business.

I brought my car in for a full inspection to get it running again as it was sitting in my garage broken for about a year. Jim worked with me and provided a very detailed quote and helped me understand what needs to be done to get my car in working order. I loved the way the estimate was presented - in a very easy to understand way (things that need immediate attention and things where service is suggest along with pictures and great details). He was very professional and friendly and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend Jim and his team for all your car needs!

My experience with these guys has been rather awesome so far. Seamless pick up and drop off and honestly, the most intuitive, digitalย way of reporting on the cars' condition. Jim was a pleasure to deal with and was quite accommodatingย in advising me on what jobs could be pushed, considering my budget. Seemed priced slightly on the higher side, but service was quick and professionally delivered! Will be bringing another, slightly more complex car to them, and if I'm sold there, I will be moving my business entirely :)
