★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Myself and 3 friends had the absolute pleasure of staying at Meares B&B a few days ago. Charlie, the owner and operator, was an amazing source of local knowledge, genuine kindness and a perfect representation of how awesome the island life can be. We received a delicious continental breakfast at our suite door every morning with fresh fruit juices, savoury and sweet pastries and fruit, yogurt and granola. What a wonderful way to start our days in Tofino! Both suites were clean, well-kept and have private hot tubs overlooking the water for breathtaking views. If you're lucky you can spot some of the local wildlife like we did when a bald eagle soared overhead! If you have a chance to head down to Tofino and stay at Meares I would highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here at an Air B&B that unfortunately isn't shown on the map. It was called 'wet feet retreat'; hosted by stay Tofino. The place was absolutely amazing and we had a fantastic family holiday. It was a really lovely place to stay, and be based for our time on Vancouver Island. Quick access to beautiful beaches, restaurants, shops, and lots to do in terms of activities. We did the classic stuff. The wolf in the hole was amazing for food. Tofino itself was a relaxing place to stay. Loved it!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charlie was an excellent host, he is extremely knowledgeable about the area and will make great recommendations as he shows you the place. The views were impeccable, and private! The location is also close to the main downtown area and about 10-15 minutes away from the strip of beaches. Tonquin beach is less than 5 minutes away, the trail connects to other beaches!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a beautiful and amazing bed and breakfast in a perfect location. The views just cannot be beat. We ended up getting take out most nights instead of eating in town as it felt like we had the best view on the island. Charlie is the perfect BnB host, helpful and knowledgeable of the best of Tofino (trust his recommendations you will not regret it, he suggested our favourite hike, activity and dinner!). The amazing breakfasts every morning were the perfect way to start the day and the hot tub was the perfect way to end it. The room was huge and so well set up with everything you need including a toasty fire to stay warm in the colder months. Truly the kind of place you half want to tell everyone about half want to tell no one to keep it to yourself. Thank you again Charlie for an amazing trip, we will be back!!
