M	Mrs. Green on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I had a last minute trip to Tofino, and planned on just staying in our camper, but after the second night decided we wanted a shower ;) After calling around and having no luck, we finally found the Hummingbird. The Hummingbird is a B&B with a few suites below the owners personal living space. I was skeptical as I've never stayed at a B&B before, we usually only get hotels. I didnt know what to expect. The owner was very accommodating and polite. He made us feel very welcome. We came in the evening and all we wanted to do was shower and eat. He stayed long enough to give us info on walking distance restaurants, as well as best places to park our RV if we decided to drive closer to town. He then gave us our key and told us to let him know if we needed anything else. The room itself was clean and quiet. You wouldn't have even known there was any other guests there if it wasn't for the cars :) There was a TV with cable and movie choices. A fridge, coffee, tea, and every dish you need. The wifi worked great and there was cell service too. We left pretty early (if you see this, we hope we didn't wake you) We are early risers so we were out of there around 530am ish. So we weren't there super long, but for the time that we were, it was a great place to stay. Thank you!

The location was perfect, just a few minutes walking distance from the beautiful Mackenzie Beach. The room was spacious and clean, and rates were extremely reasonable for the Tofino area. Vern was very accommodating and friendly, and we really enjoyed our stay at this lovely bnb!

The place was extremely clean, and peaceful. 5 minute drive to town, and beaches where super close, perfect for surfing! The owner was great, friendly and caring. You will feel right at home at this place!! Plan to come back here when I go back to Tofino.

The breakfast was inedible - considering the price of this small place, I’d at least expect a proper breakfast! We won’t be back.

The house itself was quiet, beautiful and surrounded by trees on all sides. The location was perfect as it was right next to the beach and only a 5 minute drive to town. The host was lovely and the check in and check out process was flawless.

My boyfriend, brother and I rented two rooms and were happy with the overall cleanliness, central location and convenience of them. Beds were comfortable, small kitchenette made for an easy place to store some food in the fridge and make coffee/tea in the morning and we were overjoyed with how quiet it was for a good night rest! Highly recommend :)
