★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely could use work. Rails are either over waxed or not waxed at all. Quarter pipes are.....need to go. Worst I have ever seen. Awkwardly placed memorial rock takes up a solid chunk of good options.. one street feature, which is a crumbling parking block. Wouldn't bring kids here, it will discourage them from riding. The city really needs to put money into skatepark and other stuff for youth and young adults...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beloved neighborhood park situated on the former Mckernan Lake bed, evidenced by a gentle slope of interest to local history buffs. There has been a few upgrades to the playground facilities during my lifetime and most recently spray- and skatepark(s) have been added. It's large enough to have a private picnic, play a game of toss with your dog, or enjoy shelter from any rain at one of a handful of tables provided.
