MCI The Doctor's Office Jane Finch Mall

I've gone here far too many times if I'm being honest; and each time it's only been for convenience reasons (I live very close by). One of the Doctors here are truly miserable and genuinely hates their job. Can't remember his name, but he always wears sandals and cargo shorts. He rushes each patient, and skips over some of them as well (he skipped a woman who looked extremely ill and went to my room first, despite her having waited longer than myself). I told all my friends and family my most recent encounter with him about 5 months back from the time of writing this review; it's actually quite hilarious. >> I'll spare you guys the details, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go to a different clinic if it's at all an option. If you need to see a doctor for any sort of serious condition or matter (i.e if you're very ill or pregnant, etc.), then please do yourself a favor and make the travel to the next closest clinic; provided it has better reviews. << If you need a quick check up or a doctor's note, then this place will do OK for you. However, being that it is a walk-in clinic in a very populated location such as JnF, the wait times are exactly as others portray in their reviews. You will NEVER wait less than an hour, and you will MOST LIKELY wait between 1.5-3 hours. If you do go to this clinic, don't take how you're treated personally. Everyone gets treated poorly here. Also, it does help a bit if you call ahead and ask for the current approx. wait-time and ask the receptionist to schedule you in. Good luck

The way this place is run is nearly comical. I've gone here several times, not by choice but rather due to convenience of location; and I regret it each time. There's many reasons why this location has a 1.7 Star review overall (at this time). I would like to mention though that some things are excusable; such as the wait time. Due to the nature of walk-in clinics, especially in a packed area like JnF, you're bound to wait before being called into a doctor's office. At this location, the wait time is almost always 1.5 hours to 3 hours long; but again that's to be expected here. Other flaws however, are inexcusable. Like how little some of the doctors that are employed here care. If I told you some of my experiences here, you simply wouldn't believe me; so I'll choose to keep them to myself. I would also like to add however, that not every Doctor employed here is awful. There's one or two of them that seem like they genuinely care about the health and well-being of every patient that walks in; I only wish I remembered their names to say thanks. My honest advice is to go to another walk-in location IF YOU CAN. If you simply don't have the means to move around, or if you're lazy and don't need any proper assistance, then by all means this location will most likely work out for you. For more urgent matters though, please go somewhere else. Your body and your health are worth it. To MCI, please try to be more involved with these reviews and trying to become a better establishment. There are a lot of people in our area, and a lot of us need medical help from time to time. With that being said, it would be great if we knew we had a great spot that we can count on, being MCI the Doctor's Office.

i am writing this as i am on hold with the clinic and it is close to closing time..the receptionist at the other end of the line was trying to make me call back saying my results will be available next week. when i told her my wife already got a call for a referral a day back, even tho she had come with me, she said, oh yeah and put me on hold..its been like 15 mins now .guess i will suddenly hear a click and the call will be disconnected. 17.14..she came back on the phone and told me my referral was sent but probably they didnt receive, so they will refax again and i will get a call back...well, its a good thing i called to check..cos earlier too, i was supposed to get a referral and never got it..then when i had gone to the clinic for something else and told them that i am still waiting for the referral, the lady with the head covering told me quite rudely and curtly, that my appointment was that day itself in about 3 hrs..when i said nobody called me about it, she rudely told me, nobody lies here .guess they are all angels and dropped from heaven...the ones that drew blood were new and were telling each other, you practise...their label printer they were still figuring out..i hope they didnt label somebody elses blood as mine and vice versa....

I normally don't leave reviews, but I felt inclined to because the walk-in doctor I saw was amazing. Dr. Sania Hakim was very thorough with her examinations, was extremely detail-oriented and knowledgeable (and I can confirm this because I'm a pre-med student). She went above and beyond to prescribe me 3 meds for my eczema and also referred me to a chiropractor for my back pain. She was also very kind, empathetic, and caring with all her patients including myself. She deserves 5/5 stars and beyond! If you can choose which doctor to see, go see Dr. Hakim! I've had great interactions with the staff as well. A couple of them came in the check on me while I was waiting in the room - very sweet. The only thing that bothered me was the long wait time, I waited for maybe over an hour but I'm okay with it since the care I received was great!

This is not for me but my boyfriend he need medical forms sighed by Dr Asmal he said to him he has no records of him and that was highly false because he has been going there from since he was a child he then shoved the paper in his hands and refused to listen while walking out my boyfriend got the original records from the hospital and guess who's name Is on it it's dr Asmal meaning he has it in his paper files. They need new doctor

The Doctors at this location will belittle you for whatever is wrong with you, and this is how a practice should not operate! If you’re gonna be “Doctors” who treat patients like lab rats, then yall need to find another profession like standing behind a customer service desk at the local grocery store. Trash at its finest & yall disrespect women too. Clean the slate or shut this place down!

I had been calling this office since last year to get my physical assessment done so I can be be updated in my overall health and the receptionist is being rude and don’t understand how much this physical assessment means to me. She was rude and unprofessional and told me it will take a month to get my assessment done. And guess what? Been over 5 months this had occurred.

This place deserves 0 stars , I have been to this location a few times and from my experience its seems as though the doctors show up just to get paid . They do not care about the medical profession or the people they tend too. If this place is unable to book doctors that genuinely care about their Job and want to help people then they should close .
