Jock is a key component in that.He commands respect and hard work in turn the students thrive to do well. They learn the values of hard work because it is themselves that earn the medal. I would recommend this club(and have many times) to many people considering martial arts as their choice. It’s so refreshing to enroll my child in a class that he actually looks forward to going to

My daughter started 2 years ago and she progressed a lot (from a kid who didn't want to stand on one foot because she was afraid of falling to a kid who can do hook kicks, spinning hook kicks and kicks way above her head). She progressed well and a major part of it is because she always wants to do well to impress her TKD teacher. Mr. McDowell knows how to talk to the children, knows when it is the time for discipline and when it is time to have fun. Great classes, great atmosphere. I am glad Mr. McDowell accepted my daughter in his TKD class and greatful for the amazing work he does with the kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Tae Kwon Do instructor I’ve ever seen. My daughter struggled for 2 years with a white belt before finally getting in here. Within one year she has a yellow belt and green stripe. Jock is excellent with young students and really makes every lesson meaningful and fascinating as he teaches about discipline, teamwork and self defence.
