I have worked with Mccormick on numerous projects. They are Great guys with great work ethic. I would recommend their services to all of my family and friends.

Hired to remove garage pad and driveway and prepare space for new pour of same. Removal uneventful and satisfactory. Garage pad forms required remedy 3 times before pour due to measurement errors. Final pour was not squared (side walls measured 23'11" and 24'1") but told this is acceptable variance. Floor of garage has multiple sites of pooling, despite promise of 2% grade to facilitate water drainage. Garage door opening not correct, required personal rental of concrete cutter to remedy at additional expense. When discussion of lack of satisfaction for garage pad ensued, contractor offered to refund cost of the prepaid and incomplete driveway pour. We had been offered 10% discount if prepaid for services. (note business is a licensed prepaid contract holder). Refund amount less than what paid according to contract. Upon questioning of this, contractor had rescinded 10% discount and increased cost of garage pad pour (without providing appropriate notice of cost change as outlined in contract.) Have been waiting for our refund for 2 months. Contractor would not reply to additional attempts to discuss or resolve issue. Referred to lawyer to settle, but requested the agreement to 'not discuss our business experience with them" which violates Consumer Protection Act.

Received an invoice on March 5, with a due date of 4.2.2019. Naturally I thought this meant April 2. Received a threatening email from these guys on March 22, 2019 stating that if payment was not received within one day they would put a lien on my property. Not sure why they are threatening this after less than 30 days of receiving the invoice. Regardless, I paid on time, March 31 and sent a reply back. They did not respond and have not mentioned anything about the lien. As I work in civil enforcement I easily obtained a lien search to find out they were all talk. TLDR; did a fine job on the renovation, poor customer service, and threatened to put a lien on my property before the due date of the invoice.

McCormick was hired to complete the 2nd half of our fencing project for our condominium complex. I can't tell you how thrilled I am with the work they have done! Matt was incredibly easy to work with and you can tell he and his guys take tremendous pride in their work. HIGHLY recommend these guys. Our fences are absolutely amazing, both structurally and visually. Thank you guys!

Really missing McCormick General on the renovations for my new house. I've had 2 houses renovated by McCormick and was so happy, they gave me the moon when I asked for just a star. Custom built bathrooms, decks and closets were just a few of my wishes and they really came through. Thanks for your help over the many miles that now separate us. Andrew and Jason and their crew did a fantastic job on our garage demolition, excavation, forming and pouring a new double garage pad in spring 2021. Andrew and his team were professional, punctual, hard-working, and produced a great result ahead of schedule that left me with a beautiful new pad upon which I constructed the garage. I highly recommend this team because they care about their work, they get it done right and they both understand and enjoy what they do. Andrew's quote was detailed and precise. His communication with me prior to beginning work and throughout the project was exemplary. And his knowledge of concrete and its chemistry was impressive. Due to a mild winter work started a few weeks early - to my delight. Demolition and removal was quick and easy. Then the site was excavated to the grade as discussed and his team carefully prepared the forms and rebar work. Since it was still april, Andrew made sure to order the type of concrete that was appropriate for the air and ground temperatures in early spring. Concrete pouring day went quickly and smoothly. And due to sudden cooling the team took extra care to add tarps and propane heaters to ensure proper setting of the concrete. Only a few minor problems occurred and Andrew's responses/solutions to these were quick and professional and effective. I don't expect perfection, but I am impressed by someone taking effort to "get it right". A small but important -to-me aspect was that Andrew's team was respectful in their deportment on site (they didn't play loud music, nor smoke or swear and they kept it tidy). In fact, I thoroughly enjoyed talking with them and one fellow even made a point of having fun with my gentle old dog. I rarely hire people to work for me as I prefer to do things myself but this job was beyond my ability and I'm super happy with McCormick Construction's results!

Fantastic experience with Andrew and his team from McCormick! I hired them to do a renovation of my downtown condo including new carpets, shower, baseboard trim, closet doors, kitchen cabinets and Heater covers. The finished product looks great but more importantly the customer service was above and beyond my expectations. I'm based in Calgary and Andrew even offered to manage access to the unit for another contractor that was required by the building. He was also able to utilize some extra material he had to keep the costs down. Great value for money and a quick and clean Reno. I would 100% use them again and have no hesitations recommending McCormick!
