True. SOME of staff are so unfriendly that you might occasionally find it hard to suppress a giggle. But it’s good to remember that MCC operates on a volunteer basis, so that as much as possible goes to its incredible, worldwide causes. Indeed, one of the causes is providing useful productive work to local people, even if they aren’t exemplary in customer service. In terms of product, the are fantastic. I go every week.

You can find EVERYTHING at this Thrift Shop or pretty close to it! If you have to furnish an apartment really inexpensively, they have a great selection of furniture in good used condition. Dishes, pots and pans etc. I go there to hunt for vintage things I can use for my Craft Projects but also picked up a few really nice sweaters and hoodies as well

Great store, definitely seeing some prices that are based on EBAY it looks like for some reason. Over all the staff are fantastic and it actually goes to a good cause. Definitely shop here over Value Village.

Extremely rude woman staff. Today I was accosted by a loud and aggressive woman staff member asking me where I got my cart. I told her at the front. She said because someone was missing a cart full of stuff. I guess this loud, rude woman was insinuating I took the cart and emptied all the stuff. She was clearly over excited overly aggressive and completely off base. MCC should be careful who they hire and who volunteers. They had a $50 delivery fee which was reasonable since Abbotsford is small. However for that price you could fill the truck and have it delivered. This was dumb. Occaissionally they would lose money. They claim that the price of gas has risen. Their solution is to jack up the price to $75. The gas component of the price is tiny. If they were smart they would offer it at $50 for the first item and $10 for each subsequent item up to the next 5 items. They now have eliminated their delivery service if you just need one item delivered. Who would pay $75 delivery for a $40 item. Bad business model. To further demonstrate their complete lack of consideration is they will not give you an approximate delivery time. Even morning/afternoon. You have to waste a whole day waiting. Anyone could figure out in a few minutes how to at least approximate a delivery schedule and simply call people. This is called customer service practiced by every retailer on the planet. Our delivery was the only one that day. Surely the woman who scheduled it would have known that it would be first thing in the morning. They call you the day before to let you know to be home. SURELY then they would have known and could have some basic consideration to let you know it was the only shipment. They want to cover the cost of operating the truck. Fine. However the same truck is used to pick up furniture for free. By their formula they want the people who pay for shipping to bear this cost too. That cost should be absorbed by the profit they make when they sell those items.

The management has the worst customer service ever. The drama and unkindness are this location is unacceptable. The Facebook page made to show free vintage item marked up and create a disappointing dog eat dog mentality needs to stop. Go back to a kind and Christian atmosphere and believe customers.

I like everything about shopping here except that they never have enough shopping carts for the size of the store. I would spend more time and money here if I knew there was a shopping cart always available like the store that has an abundance of red ones. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. Please think how this issue affects your customer base with age and mobility issues.

Excellent OP shop, has a bit of everything, the staff that builds and assembles the store displays (and the new antique section) have done a 5 star job!

Today was my first time going to the MCC thrift shop at 33933 Gladys Ave, with my friend Rob. I was surprised how nice and large it was inside, very well organized. I noticed its definitely a little better than Salvation Army in my opinion. They have everything here and all areas are clearly labelled on the wall, clothes, shoes, furniture etc..everything u can think of for your house, there are quite a few change rooms as well. Profits go towards clean drinking water, food and medications in poor countrys which is great. Everything is fairly priced. There definitely is some junk but it is a thrift store. One man's junk is another person's treasure.
