c	carolina caceres on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience, I showed up for my appointment, turns out they cancelled it on me without letting me know. I rescheduled even though I was very upset that I drove all the way there. Show up the following Tuesday, turns out the student I was supposed to get my hair done by didn't feel like showing up, or for the rest of the week actually. They could care less, said it happened allll the time. They should have an alternate plan for when things like this happen. How do there students graduate with not showing up for their appointments? On top of it all, the staff/admin were incredibly unprofessional, they made it seem like I was over reacting and treated me like garbage they said i would get "25% off". The one director actually made me cry, I had skipped class and also drove 30 min (again) for an appointment. I ended up with a hairstylist, she was really nice, and did a good job, way more professional than her superiors. She seemed to be the only student there who know what she was doing, probably because she worked at a salon already and they were teaching her stuff elsewhere. But i still ended up paying $130 which is ridiculous as this is a school... Not impressed, will never go back. Hopefully this review steers people away from booking appointments here.
M	Melissa Mathew on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an amazing wash/cut/style with Breann last Saturday. She was thorough and paid attention to detail. She verified the length I wanted cut and how I wanted it styled. She clearly explained what products she was going to use and why. She also checked in with the instructor before proceeding. It was easy to make an appointment and the front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating when I needed to change my appointment time. Can’t go wrong for $15! My hair looked amazing and I got a lot of compliments on it.
c	carli arielle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff is extremely rude and condescending to their students, and seem to forget that their students are still learning, and they are meant to be teaching them. They fail students on practical work for the most trivial things, and there have been multiple times that the director has told someone concerning news over email and then left for the weekend, leaving them to worry the whole time. The whole atmosphere seems horrible for the students, and as it is a school, there should be more effort put into teaching and assisting the students, not just talking down to them IN FRONT of clients.

T	Taylor Recksiedler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well I promised this lovely lady a well deserved review. Kaitlyn Gaetz enrolment coordinator, which she has been very helpful with my whole enrolment process. She has helped inform me about Manitoba Student loans, and a wonderful grant that I was eligible for. I have leaned on her a lot through this applying process and she has been nothing but sweet and helpful. She has a lot of insight, knowledge, and diligence; and I hope she is getting payed the money she deserves, because she has made this process a lot less stressful then what it could have been without her guidance. Thanks again! Excited to start at this wonderful establishment on the 15th!

A	Andrew Moar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where do I start?… I left my haircut feeling so embarrassed by their staff (not the students, they were nice). I have naturally curly hair but although it is curly, it’s mostly soft and light weight. i was told my hair is “course”, that the hair colour i came in with was “all over the place”, talking like I wasn’t even there, saying how my hair is just “so tangled!!!” and that i “NEED” a deep conditioner even though every curly girl knows you just don’t put GEL in curly hair because it will knot very easily so to blame my hair texture instead of just working with the hair type i have is just ridiculous!! On top of that, after “styling”, i had to make my own hair part and it wasn’t even styled like i had asked. it was brittle and i would FEEL the product just caked. i was there from 9am-2pm for a solid color/cut… so at this point i just wanted to leave. I left feeling so embarrassed about my hair, like actually so ugly. the stylist did a fine job but the instructor is condescending and talks to her students like they aren’t learning. I have never had a bad experience here but this is my 3rd and last time ever going here. the picture attached is my BRITTLE DRY hair they “styled”

She perfected the platinum blonde I asked for, and kept me very entertained during the process. Explained everything she was doing and how it would turn out, and always made sure I was comfortable. Extremely friendly and is very open to suggestions and giving you exactly what you want. Highly recommend you ask for her if you go to this location!!
