★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently we had a flood in our basement Maylan construction was out the next day and was able to provide us the service required to remove all the water damage. They moved all of our personal items into a pod storage so they didn’t have any further water damage. They even went the extra mile and removed some old deck wood we had in our garage and cleaned it up for us. We appreciated all the hard work that was provided.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a hydro pole snap in late 2019. When Maylan replaced the pole, they did a horrible job. During excavation, rocks were thrown in all directions 15+ feet. I used to mow this part of my property. During pole install, subcontractor did not tamp around the pole and failed to backfill one side altogether. The pole began to lean immediately. I notified Maylan, who took months to finally send someone back out. Jason told me that he would personally come to my property to see the job on two separate occasions. He never came. Completely unprofessional. After a year of complaining, they finally sent an employee to see the job. He agreed that the job was done poorly and that the pole was leaning. He called Jason in front of me and told him this. Jason's solution was to call the subcontractor and ask for a certificate of inspection. He provided me the inspection form dated November 2019 and sent me to collections. I copied higher up management on all communications with Jason and never got a response from any of them. The pole is still leaning, hole never backfilled or tamped, except by myself, rocks still thrown in all directions. They removed a tree for machine access without permission and then still drove across my lawn. Email response time with Jason was usually weeks to months to receive a response. For such a large company, I was blown away with how poorly they "managed" the whole job. If I could give less than one star, I would.
