β β β β β Went here for the Brazilian wax and eyebrow threading so this review is strictly for these services, not for hair.
Service 9/10
Friendly staff, offered me a phone charger when I asked. Knows what theyβre doing, movements are quick and efficient. Eyebrows threaded nicely, Brazilian wax cleared overall 98% of the hair. Relatively painless because they applied powder on the skin before the wax.
Hygiene 2/10
I wish I can somehow sugarcoat this but the moment I stepped into the waxing room I regretted making the appointment. Stain marks on the wall. Rust marks and stains on the waxing machine. The waxing bed sheets look old and like it hasnβt been changed in a while. Everything just looks expired, uncared for, minimal cleaning. They told me they donβt double dip, which for my own sake Iβll convince myself to believe. All I know is that 2 days after getting waxed I came down with intense irritation and itching/redness that I had to go to the doctor for. Iβve gotten Brazilian wax and lasered multiple times but never had such a reaction. After waxing they put some kind of oil on me (no labels, dunno what kind of oil, shady af). The service was cheap maybe for a reason!!
Ladies donβt make my mistake and be thrifty where you shouldnβt be. Especially down there where itβs sensitive, invest in it and if you go to a place that doesnβt feel right just step out!!
Might return for eyebrow threading.

β β β β β I have been going to Maya's since 2013. Hardeep and her staff are friendly and they provide excellent service - waxing, threading, facials, hair etc. Their location is clean and prices are reasonable. I highly recommend them.

β β β β β The esthetician that works for Hardeep did my arm/ leg waxing and eyebrow threading and did a SUPERB job. My arms and legs felt so silky after and my eyebrows were on point as always! The place was clean and the esthetician used a disposable bed and chair cover and sanitized before and after I sat while providing accessible hand sanitizer within range. There were covers between each station and i felt comfortable wearing a mask while having the services carried out. This is a hole in the wall local owned business people should check out and the prices are REALLY good. Overall i recommend Hardeep and her staff, i will definitely be returning!!

The lady ruined my eyebrows!!!!! I donβt care if you have 14years experience but you messed up with my eyebrows!!! Itβs obviously un even.. Then you will ask me who does my eyebrows previously?The heck!! I will not recommend this salon and will never come back..

β β β β β Had a really great and valuable experience as She was very professional and experienced that I got a hair cut that I was precisely looking for and I got a wonderful look with that hair cut. COVID protocols are highly followed and taken care off. Nice and Clean Place. Please reach out to her in case you are looking for some amazing face suited haircuts.
