★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped by May’s Gifts on our way through Marathon. What a delightful surprise! May and her husband Yvan are so friendly, and their store is full of neat gifts. Yvan makes unique solar glass lamps - there are lots to choose from in the store. May also offers free overnight camping (just pull to the rear of the store). We were just passing through, so we didn’t stay this time, but worth knowing for future visits! A nice place to stop while traveling through northern Ontario.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we bought a few things here including the handmade lamps. At first I could not get them working but after figuring them out they work great and are beautiful. There is lots of gifts here as well, it is a nice break from the drive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful gift shop with amazing owners! The lady I dealt with asked me where I was from & recommended some great locally made products. She let me know about the free camping & told me to stop by anytime I was driving through & tired. This was great to know, as it was a struggle to find a public restroom on my drive from southern Ontario to Thunder Bay. Thank you for the garden lamp, my mom loves it!! I’ll be stopping by again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decided to stop into this shop while visiting the area. Mr Paris was genuinely kind and friendly. We ended up leaving with one of his lovely bird feeders and cannot wait to put it out in our back yard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My sister and I decided to stop in while driving through Marathon. This is such a cute store with so many items! The owners were so kind, greeted us right away and answered any questions we had gladly. They had a guest book for us to sign as well (which I thought was a unique idea!). Would definitely recommend ?
