Maxine began her career as a Hearing Aid Practitioner in Edmonton in 1986. Once she achieved her accreditation, she travelled throughout Northern Alberta establishing hearing aid clinics and working with local Health units to provide hearing health care to the residents of various communities.
In 1997 she accepted a position that brought her to Calgary to open a new clinic. Her last position was at the Calgary Ear Centre where she worked with a team of specialists providing a one stop approach to hearing health care offering everything from counselling, Tinnitus management, hearing aids, to surgical solutions for clients. Although she found the work extremely rewarding, she also found the pace of an ever-growing city a bit overwhelming and longed to slow things down.
After spending 30 plus years working for someone else, she decided it was time to venture out on her own so Maximum Hearing was created. It was June of 2020 that she once again ventured out and opened her office in Hanna.
