Good well maintained store with friendly store staff. I feel the prices at Maxi are cheaper compared to Provigo, IGA or Metro.

Not that it really matters, but the neighbourhood crowd can be rough around the edges. The parking lot required a lot of caution as people tend to speed through to exit on the other side. Most people coming from the suburbs will think its a horrible maxi. Food is expensive. You gotta what u gotta do.

Not well stacked. But enough for essentials. Prices could be lower on most products compared to regional stores.

Our go to place for a week's grocery. Vegetables are fresh and wide variety of other house hold stuff too. However, it would be good to introduce few tropical fruits and availability of bananas are rare. Couldn't find much variety for Indian and South Asian cuisine. Luckily they do have ghee and coconut oil. Hope they restock.

Love their 0.88$ baguette! Great store for the value. It large parking in front, next to a Canadian tire and a Canada post office so very useful spot.

Inexpensive grocery store. It's very well set up to move people along, with sales at the ends of the rows. The produce on special looks good, the rest of the produce is just okay.

A great stop for "deals" as this Maxi caters to a less ripened wallet. SAQ, Canadian Tire, and other stores not far.

Not a lot of variety but what really made me very uncomfortable was the tall lady at the self checkout. She was literally invading my personal space when I was scanning my items. She stood so close to me as if she wanted to jump on me. Not professional at all. She even opened one of my grocery bags without asking me. I purchased a few items from provigo before going to that maxi. She should have asked me and not just start touching and looking inside the bag and put her nasty hands inside. Not everyone has a car. Some people have to carry their bags when shopping at multiple stores. I was really bothered how she stood so close to me almost touching me. There is covid and staff are not maintaining social distancing. That’s a big problem. Disgusting behaviour!
