This place has no idea how treat anyone, owner is a racist and started yelling profanities while we were in there. learn how to treat customers and people, word gets around quick. products are low quality also, stay away unless you want to be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maxam is the best company I have ever worked with. They have the most unique product line, the pricing is great and they have so much knowledge, not only about their products but their competitors as well. If you need an access door or floor door, Maxam is the place to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, this was the rudest phone call I ever had with any company. I called to inquire about a product and as soon as the person on the phone heard it is for residential, cut me off, "Sorry can't help you with that, we're not interested" and hanged up. It is possible to say the same words but may be more polite, or may be suggest where else to go for such product. I get it, I guess they are doing so well they don't care about non-customers and it's busy times and all that, but still...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Service! Well Priced! When they say they will have a product ready for a specific date, they do what they need to to make it happen. Many vendors that I have had dealings with in the past, when under pressure. Don't respond to emails, or even pick up the phone. Maxam doesn't. They face it head on, continue the dialog, and get er' done!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I needed a 16 by 16 fire rated hatch door ASAP, called on Friday and had it from Maxam Metal on Monday! Very pleased they had one in stock and I was able to complete my job quickly. It was cheaper than I expected, which is always a bonus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great customer service, I got the access panels I needed just by walking in and asking for them. They had what I needed in stock as they make them there. This keeps the price down. The lady at the front was lovely but I can't remember her name. I think her family runs the business. I was looking at a way higher price and two weeks delivery time from another manufacturer.
From now on I will just drive there and get what I need. I am a commercial construction superintendent and I often need access panels, so these guys are a god send.
They also make custom sizes if you need such you can give them a call.
