Lots of frustrated people waiting to attend a non appointment open house only to arrive and see a posted sign on the door saying they were close for the next couple of weekends. Meanwhile people has travelled hours to get there. Better. Notification process would have improved the the experience for their customers.

Actually had a sit down meeting during Covid where they would not take my deposit. I was told we couldn't have the house we picked on the lot we liked so, we said we didn't care which house... just sell us one of the lots we chose!. Nothing. Since then I have had messages ignored, e-mails ignored and now everything seems shut down. Even e-mailed head office. Still nothing.

On our 30-day pre-delivery inspection, we noted exposed wood beams in a concrete section of our foundation. We expressed concerns about potential rot, water damage. Mattamy promised to fix this in 2019. Since then the concrete parging has been peeling off, exposing more and more wood beams each year. Two years pass, and only then did they finally let us know, that the entire exposed concrete section was supposed to be covered in siding. But wouldn't you know it, the colour was on backorder and they aren't able to do anything about it. They did not offer any alternative solutions. Buyer beware - Mattamy only cares about putting up new homes and does not have the interests of its homeowners at heart.
T	Tina Girard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We purchased a new home from Mattamy & moved in March 2022. No new home is perfect but Mattamy has been helpful and responsive in touching up some of the items we had identified. We love our new home and the neighbourhood is awesome.
