★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a water seepage issue in our basement that I’ve never dealt with before. Submitted the details to Matrix online and got a call back the next day. Our problem wasn’t major, but I didn’t know how to handle it. Their rep discussed the situation with me and offered me suggestions of how to resolve it myself without having to pay for an unnecessary service call. They weren’t interested in just taking my money, but in providing me with a viable and reasonable resolution based on my situation. You don’t get that kind of integrity, honesty and support often. Thank you!

They were able remediate the mould and reinstall what had to be removed which I appreciated as it's hard to good trades in a timely manner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jon is very knowledgeable and experienced. Professional service and a pleasure to do business with. After Jon did his initial inspection, the crews came in to do the demolition and mold removal. Mike and Dawid were awesome. The guys showed up and got the job done thoroughly and professionally. I was able to work in the basement while the guys did their thing. Hardly noticed them. At the end, Mike gave me a walkthrough of the cleaned areas. This team knows what they are doing and Calgary could use more professional contractors like this. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an issue in our home and contacted Guy to perform an inspection. He was quite quick to come out to our property and do an assessment-- no small thing as we are 3 hours from Calgary. The quoting was quite fair and all aspects of the work was clearly explained. On the day of the work, the crews showed up on time, clearly explained their plans and got to it! We were happy with the work completed and based on our experience, we would recommend Guy and the Matrix crew to any of our friends!

I would recommend Matrix to anyone who is considering using them and if you are hesitant, don't be! From Guy the owner to Jon the Manager to Ghirmay the hard working lad who did the removal & replacement of the damaged material, it was a great experience and I am 100% confident that the job was done properly and with the highest level of Quality. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're able to wait weeks on end for your job to be completed, then Matrix might be the company for you. During my first consultation, mold was found and Matrix provided a quote and remediated it quickly. The renovation is where it took a turn. The project manager takes days sometimes over a week to follow up to phone calls or emails. He mentions how busy he is with other projects and the issues he's encountering with "other" projects. To be fair, our project was only a washroom and fairly small, but we felt we were treated poorly which left us with a "we'll get to you when we get to you" sentiment. When Contractors are coordinated, the work is completed to a high quality, however, just to get to that point is frustrating. Usually, you pay for what you get, and the installation once completed was great, however, the lack of responsiveness is disappointing, and not worth the money that we paid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent work and service all around! Jon and Guy led the team to do our mold remediation and asbestos removal when part of our basement flooded. We then upgraded the bathroom and Jon helped us make it into the spa style bathroom of our dreams! Couldn’t be happier with the professionalism, work quality, and experience. So happy in fact we had Matrix tackle a few other projects around the house as well including a new roof and replacement flooring (removed carpet and put vinyl wood planks down)
