Ça fait maintenant 5 ans que je demeure dans une maison construite par le Groupe Mathieu et je dois procéder au remplacement d'environ le tiers du revêtement extérieur. C'est inconcevable. Les matériaux utilisés par le Groupe Mathieu sont de piètre qualité et nécessitent un remplacement complet ou un entretien répétitif extrêmement coûteux. Bien sûr, Groupe Mathieu ne vous en fait pas mention lors de la vente de la maison ni même lors de la prise de possession. Ce contracteur ne pense qu'à son portefeuille et aucunement aux gens qui habiteront les maisons qu'il construit. I do not recommend this contractor. It's been five years now that I live in a house built by Groupe Mathieu and I have to replace about a third of the exterior cladding. It is inconceivable. The materials used by Groupe Mathieu are of poor quality and require a complete replacement or an extremely expensive repetitive maintenance. Of course, Mathieu Group does not mention it when selling the house or even when taking possession. This contractor thinks only of his portfolio and not the people who will live in the houses he builds.

Extremely Poor after sale service, rarely return calls or emails, some repairs have been done, but they will not fix the other problems I have in my new condo, scratched window I have to buy a new window which will cost 200 dollars, I was told they won’t change the window, joints need a second coating, shed door is scrached, cover for wiring of air conditioning not done. Every time I write to service après vente, I am told to bring the list of repairs to a lawyer. Make sure all is written on your parchemin if not they decide to do the work.....or not. I have only been here four months and I have to get the government garantie involved, be aware when buying from group Mathieu. I am very disappointed in this company. I am on Facebook if anyone wants to compare notes Here is another unprofessional comment from groupe mathieu unbelievable. I cannot understand why a supposed good company speaks to the clients this way. This is very disrespectful when someone speaks about a person they do not even know. My bath is damaged and this is the excuse they came up with. Mme Vous être a me dire que notre homme de service a fait les dommages et que vous les voyez seulement là Il a répare votre plafond le 11-06-2018 après 8 mois vous n’avez jamais laver votre bain depuis laisser moi en douter. P	Pablo Perez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sale was good, but I think there was a lack of details to share from the sale’s woman that could make the house more comfortable even if the price could be higher; like better sound proof in some rooms, distribution on the basement, place to put the laundry room, etc. Perhaps if you go with all these details at the moment to buy you will get a better deal with your home. Some details we had on the post sale were fixed after Mr. Mathieu took care personally of them, since the contractors didn’t want to fix them or they were taking too long to respond, it was great to see how the owner of the company took responsibility to solve all issues for our good.
F	FAB D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a contractor to stay away from. After sales service is horrible. I left many messages with no call back. The Mathieu family have one interest and that is their own interest. When I was not happy with a few items and quality of build, (bad window installation, misaligned doors, poorly installed vents) one of the family members contacted me to threaten they would take condo away if I don’t accept the issues. Sales lady does not help at all and is afraid of the Mathieu family, so they will not work in your best interest. They are also not consistent, they may promise or agree with you at one moment, but may change their minds the next day. Very inconsistent and discouraging to deal with them. Not pleasant at all. After dealing with many builders, this was my worst experience.

I liked the apartment and I told to the gentleman that I would get back to him with my decision for the apartment and if I would agreed I would move in for July 1st. He said that he was ok with that. So I did call him this morning and told him that I would take the apartment. He responded “ Great “, then he said that he would send me an English Form of the application for the apartment. He also asked me to confirm the moving date. I said that it would be the July 1st as discussed the day before. I told him that for me it would work better August 1 but if not then it would be definitely July 1st. He said that he would discuss it with his partners and he would get back to me right after. He didn’t call me so I texted him later the and asked him if he got any updates for me. So he texted back to me stating that he had told me they have other candidates willing to move in quickly. He never did said anything like that, he didn’t even bother to get back to me about anything. BE CAREFUL PEOPLE do get excited for getting a nice apartment until you actually sign contracts. Apparently for the gentleman money is the only thing matters! DISAPPOINTED WITH MATTHEW GROUP!!!!!
