★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot if you want icecream or a drink! There are a few tables inside, but no bathrooms! I recommend the zanmai signature, which has a bit of every toping (ex: red beans, matcha cheesecake, matcha jelly and rice crackers at the bottom). It's a big portion, and can be shared with another person!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing hojicha frappe... with deep toasty flavour. Try the float with matcha softserve ice cream on top. Compared to Tsujiri's matcha soft serve, Zanmai's is a bit lighter (less intense) and slightly sweeter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the #19 and #17 (this one is the most popular with the matcha cake on top) and it was simply exquisite. The ice cream is so tasteful and creamy, if you love matcha it will make your heart melt. The matcha cake is absolutely delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found this place by accident, and I’m so glad I visited here.
I ordered Shiratama parfait, and I was 100% satisfied with what I got.
Not overly sweet, and the soybean powder on top made it tastier.
More mochis and red bean are hidden at the bottom of the parfait!
Best matcha dessert shop I’ve come across so far!
I would definitely visit this place again next time I’m in Montreal!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my go-to shops downtown when I’m in the mood for a matcha dessert. The soft serve is creamy yet firm and the matcha flavor has the right amount of bitterness, earthiness, and grassiness that I enjoy. This is real matcha! I’ve also tried their parfaits, cake and mochi and I’ve never been disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their soft serve matcha ice cream is really good! It’s not some matcha scented ice cream that’s commonly found, but a really thick matcha flavour. Their iced matcha latte is really good too! One of my friends had it hot and said many compliments.
I was excited to try the kinako latte and had it iced.. but it failed to reach expectations. I am a huge fan of roasted soybeans but I guess it’s not easy to turn that into a great drink, or maybe my expectations were too high.
The staff are all nice and service is friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great food. I had the matcha signature parfait. It was really good. My friend had the cone ice cream with the flavors vanilla and matcha. He liked it, and so did his t-shirt and shorts.
