Sarah is CEO of Canada’s largest specialty toy and kids book store. She leads 68 stores coast to coast and online with 3,000 employees including our stores, head office and warehouse – bringing to life our authority on play, and creating a world class employee and customer experience.
Sarah is a passionate, energetic leader with a track record of delivering results while leading transformational change at organizations. Previously she was the Senior Vice President, Customer Experience and Omni Channel Strategy at Scotia Bank where she led the bank from #5 to #1 in customer experience ratings. She spent a decade with The Boston Consulting Group, where she advised Fortune 500 companies on large scale customer centric transformations and cultural change. Prior to joining BCG, Sarah worked with Accenture in Finland, Brazil and the United States. Sarah holds both an MBA and an Engineering degree from Queen’s University. She is a lecturer at the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University in the MBA program.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like the toys at this store so much that i've already bought several items & been in several times. But yesterday I went in around 9:45am with my friend, also an avid shopper at this store & huge consumer of toys/books/kid stuff. We asked if they had any fingerling monkeys. We were told no but the truck arrives at 11am. We went over to Toys R Us & did some shopping & went back closer to noon. When we came back in I asked the same staff if the monkeys had arrived yet. Her response was "Do you see a truck?!". I thought ok a bit stressed out I guess. So we said we'd wait a bit to see if it arrived. We began moving away when I heard a man ask for the fingerlings. Same staff said "No, none yet but we have a list you can add your name to & we'll call you." I turned back & said "Can we also get on the list since we've already been here twice today?" The clerk said yup & finished writing the man's name & number. She then asked my name & immediately followed with "Here you can write it" (very snarky) & pushed the clipboard towards me rudely & walked away. My friend & I were very insulted. Why get us to come back if there was a list? Why tell the man about the list so pleasantly but treat us like dirt? Very disappointed. We delt with 2 more store clerks in this Megamind who were very pleasant & 4 more clerks on our shopping trip that day who all were either pleasant or quiet. Why be rude? Ruins people's experience shopping there.

1. You're not buying (for the most part) that type of disposable toys that lay around the house for too long, never being played with.
2. Where else can you pretty well do all your shopping for the kids, have it wrapped, and be done with it all in an hour.
3. Customer service has always been A+.
Great store, good staff, and product selection is decent!
4/5 stars, simply because the odd item can be a bit too pricey!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this store. Did all my Christmas shopping here and I was delightfully surprised when I found out they had free gift wrapping.
Fast forward to today, during the lockdown, I couldn't go inside, so I called the store and I talked to Brandon and I told him I wanted a present for my 8 year old daughter but had no idea what. He said give me a minute, went to look around and I loved his first suggestion. Great store, great staff and FREE WRAPPING WOOT.
