I am 30 now, I still think about this camp. It was one of the happiest places. I have so many fond memories. I don't think that the people working here know what kind of impact this place has on kids. It's life changing. I was a sun kid all the way to a thunder bird and even a CIT. Wish I could go back to be honest lol

Im 24 now, and I went to this camp, from being a sunkid all the way up to being a thunderbird! It was an amazing camp. The counselors are some of the nicest people a camp could have. There are loads of stuff to do.. You won't regret sending your girls there!!!

I have the fondest memories of this place. I wish I started going here as soon as my age requirement could but only was told about it when i was 8 years old in 1998. So started in butterflies, 2 years later in ememies, then arrow heads and twice in thunder birds. So sad i can never go back. Loved the songs at flagpole in the morning and evening. Swimming everyday and playing at the park. The organized games and themed weeks. Somehow i always ended up on " halloween" theme week and it was awesome. Seeing the comments i am pleasantly surprised to know Doris still works in the kitchen there. The food was so good. Mac and cheese and shepards pie were my favorite. Campfires and special things that only my cabin did with the counselors like going down by the lake and making a wish bottle, we all wrote a wish and put it in the bottle and sent it off in the water. Probably not best environmentally friendly thing to do but it felt special as a kid. We always had a adams family hunt and it was so much fun. Loved everything about this place. Even cleaning and trying to earn pow wow points. One day if I have daughters, i would love to send them there.

aw man!! where do I begin. I went to this camp every summer from age 8 until I was 12. Amazing memories that I will never forget. I told my friends about it and we would go every year as a group. I suggest having going with someone that you know because being alone with strangers for 1 week is a bit intimidating. I am definitely going to send my daughter here next year when covid eases up

I went to this camp when I was 9 in July 1984. I remember being scared. My Mom had packed my CPK doll and I had make friends with a little girl who didn't speak English. She cried many nights so I let her sleep with my doll. I was in the Arrowhead tribe and cabin. I loved the counselors and have many fond memories of my days there. It would be nice if I could find the girls I roomed with someday. Every little girl should get to go here and make wonderful memories just like I did. Thank you Camp Marygrove.

Gods..Whats not to love about this place? It has such a wonderful energy i only first heard about it when I was 10? I think? And I loved it. I went during Halloween week (and that is what sparked my love of cosplay I think.) I wished I could go back as soon as my dad picked me up lol. We saw a rainbow, might have been a double rainbow I can't remember and we all took it as a good sign. The food was amazing, the councilors were great and the scenery, oh my g o d s the scenery! It was beautiful! And funnily enough, there was a full moon and a clear night during said full moon and a councilor took me to the bit where you can over look the water, (the place with the bench, idk if that bit ever had a name lol) and we watched the moon for a while then went back because, uh, sleep, y'know? I wish I could be a councilor but I doubt I could be, because h a h a im no longer Christian, heck I wasn't even Christian while I was there! The bus trip was suuuuppeerrrr long though but it was very, very worth it XD
