The Mary Brown’s Story
It was 1969. While the world watched the first man walk on the moon, we celebrated the first Guest walking through our doors in St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador. Needless to say, it was a giant leap for chicken. Word quickly spread and stores opened across the province. It soon became the chicken of choice. Iconic even. It was time to, pardon the pun, spread our wings.
By 1972, the secret of Mary Brown’s tantalizing chicken was out. Two stores opened in Ontario that year in Oshawa and Mississauga. From there, growth expanded west to Alberta, back east to the Maritimes, out to the Prairies and more recently, all the way to British Columbia and the Northwest Territories.
Today there are almost 200 Mary Brown’s locations across Canada, and that number keeps climbing rapidly – coast-to-coast, in small towns and big cities – as more and more Canadians fall in love with our delicious food! Sit tight, we’ll be in your neighbourhood soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I grabbed a sandwich for take out it was the most soggy unappetizing I've ever gotten from a fast food place. For what they charge 8.09 a chicken sandwich you expect a decent sandwich.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uniquely Awesome Mary browns. Good was good as it usually is but thus location has an attached store that sells all sorts of NFLd cultural foods. Caramel log bars and salt beef, etc. Love it

I am a single male, so I almost always eat out and normally go there a couple times a week. But the staff have changed and there was something wrong in my last few orders.
But to open the box of large fries to be less than a quarter full. How can they not know that is wrong and knowingly ripping me off.
A lot of places are wanting customers and this place just lost one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went In there waiting for ice cream, person at the Mary browns side told me they would be right with me. Then continued to take two other customers order that came in AFTER ME. Don’t have an ice cream section in your store if it’s not going to have someone working the area 24/7. Trying to run two businesses at one time and failing. I walked out and will never be giving you my money again. Waste my time won’t be wasting my money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are fast and friendly no doubt. I find their fries are always soggy and under cooked, so I put them in the air frier at home. Gravy could use some reworking as well. Otherwise, pretty typical chicken place. Very clean!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited on 16th May 2022 at 8:00pm. One of the best branch of Mary Brown's.... I have never tried burger before like this location... Place was so hygienic and clean.. The front guy was very friendly and polite.. I would highly recommend due to their food, awesome seating area and best service.. I saw that 2 girls working in kicthen and they made best burger ever.. Highly recommended... Definitely visit again and again... ❤️
