About Martin's Lake Regional Park
Who We Are
The Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association represents the Regional Parks in Saskatchewan.The purpose of the SRPA is to assist the Regional Park Board members and staff. Some of the assistance is by research, education and providing information resources.
The SRPA performs as a liaison between government departments and the regional parks and lobbies on their behalf.
One convention is held each year for the purpose of education and networking for the delegates. The SRPA hosts a website for the regional parks and provides additional marketing through the production and distribution of The Regional Parks Guide, other print media and radio advertising.
Our Mission
To develop, maintain and promote a strong association of regional parks; to encourage the preservation of the natural beauty within our parks while ensuring healthy recreational and tourism opportunities and experiences; to foster entrepreneurial and new park development.
Our Vision
The SRPA to be recognized as a leader in the recreation field by being the governing body of a unified, self-sustainable, accountable system of regional parks; as visionaries, be an inspirational constituency promoting a safe place with excellent recreational opportunities while respecting our natural environment.
Our Policy
The Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association is the governing body of regional parks.
- The SRPA maintains an on-going commitment toward the development of regional parks through set standards and accreditations.
- The SRPA recognizes the diversity and collective strength of member parks.
- The SRPA provides informational resources and training in the following areas:
- Marketing opportunities
- Member Park Board development
- Staff Development
- The SRPA gathers information and uses this information to make sound governing, business, and membership services decisions.
- The SRPA fosters an effective and positive relationship with governments.
- The SRPA actively searches out avenues of funding for the:
- member parks.
- association.
- The SRPA fosters an increased level of communication and awareness with:
- public.
- governments.

- other target groups.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First we were not informed that we need an RV adaptor to use the power which cost $25 . No potable water, cellphone ( no service! ) but that’s our issue on our first day and we managed? during our 4 days stay, we enjoyed the area. So peaceful and clean ( even the washrooms ). We really had a good time! Will definitely come back and will recommend it to our friends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a sad place to end the camping season! Granted, we went on the September long weekend, but still. There’s no one around to enforce quiet time. Our neighboring campsite had some kind of strobe light show happening til about 1 in the morning, and there were parties scattered throughout the campground til about 3. We suffered through one night and left early. I never want to go back!

Must try(gas plus at Blain Lake has a amazing restraunt experience waiting with frosty drink glasses for you,PS they have ice cream)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This park seems to be missing a lot of amenities. The road was terrible to get here with lots of potholes. The staff were not very helpful and gave sarcastic answers to our questions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place to take kids or just to hang out on the beach. Swimming is good. There are leaches which I don't like, but it's hard to not have them at lakes. We enjoyed swimming and suntanning. The beach area isn't very large, but there aren't too many people so it doesn't feel too crowded. Good atmosphere ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent little place! Great beach area with slide. Children are able to go out a ways as it isn't very deep. Huge park in campground. Free showers!! Must have converter if you want power. Was not pleased with this as we were not made aware of that and we were tenting. Sites are ok. However some are pretty steep. No cell service also. Not a deal breaker but would have been nice to know.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Every single person we ran into (staff at the golf course, the beach shack, other campers, etc) were extremely nice. This is a great area for families to come swim and enjoy the scenery - the playground in the campground also looked like a great time for the kids in the area - it looks like a lot of people get campsites close to their friends which would make for an even better experience.
