I would recommend him to do your sharpening jobs from scissors to knives, tools and skates. Quick turn around as well.

A	A Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife heard about this place, that they do an excellent job, the service is fantastic and friendly, and that you're definitely getting your money's worth. We have 2 blocks' worth of knives we've wanted to get sharpened (plus my favourite chef's knife had a dented tip...very annoying!) for a while, so we checked it out. Everything we read and heard about Markham Knife and Scissor Sharpening was true. When we met with Rick, the store's manager, he spoke to us with the familiarity and friendliness you'd expect from long-time returning customers. He looked at each of our knives carefully, examining which ones could be sharpened and which couldn't, and what could be done about the damaged ones. He quoted us a price, which actually surprised both my wife and I. We honestly expected to be charged more. He sharpened 2 blocks of knives, minus a few with large serrated edges, and fixed the damage to my chef's knife, for about $100 all in! Problem was that, as the name implies, he's up in Markham region and we're in Mississauga. Wasn't looking forward to dragging myself all the way back up there. Fortunately, he had to head into Mississauga for other business, and offered to drop off the knives once they were finished for a small extra cost. (I won't say what he asked for, but suffice it to say it was definitely worth it!) And how were the knives? Trust me; they were sharp! All in all, fantastic service all around! Great sharpening, above-and-beyond customer service, and clear care provided for your equipment. It took us over an hour to get out to see Rick. Was completely worth it; I don't think I'll try anyone else!

Now they are crazy sharp and it’s a life changer! I’ve recommended this place to everyone I know, and I’m planning on bringing in the rest of my knives to make each one super scary sharp. The prices were very reasonable, though I don’t know how much knife sharpening costs elsewhere, and now I never will. I met Rick and Joe on different days, and they were both knowledgeable and friendly. I will be back!

Didn't even feel a thing when it slipped while opening a coconut and cut my finger; hurts less than a covid shot due to how sharp the knife is now. Did not leave any blood/tissue on the knife after I cut myself; it went in and out cleanly. At the hospital waiting to get stitched up right now. 10/10 would recommend and would come back again for all my sharpening needs.

Given how much they are charging for, I can't give them a high enough rating here. Will definitely come back and highly recommended!

I got there within 30 minutes of their closing time and they still did it on the spot. Price is honestly very fair and cheap for quality and speed. I'm so impressed and will definitely be back :)
