★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a Realtor and received a text from someone at Marketing Booth that said "Can you handle an extra 1-2 deals per month paid upon closing only?" I responded that I could. The next day I receive a text from the same person at Marketing Booth asking "Are you available tomorrow @ noon CST to discuss?" I said yes. I was sent a link in my email to join a call. It turned out to be a short webinar - that I'm sure was pre-recorded. The person who texted me wasn't there to "discuss" anything at all. And guess what - their services are not "pay upon close" - at least nothing like that was mentioned. They gave a couple of ways that you could pay to get leads from them. I looked at their website and they also charge thousands of dollars to build you a website and provide other marketing services. And I saw nothing about "pay upon close for leads." I have no idea if it is required or not for them to build you a website. But this was such a waste of time and a total lie. What they were telling me about was not a "pay upon close" service. And they led me to believe I was having a phone call with an individual to discuss their plan... not listen to a generic webinar which is just a giant advertisement for them. It's a very poor way to try to get business in my opinion!!
