★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven't been in a Mark's for quite some time so am not sure if they've all gone downhill or if it's just this Sidney BC location.
Disorganized, cluttered, messy, dirty and terrible customer service.
Just a couple of steps into the store made me feel like I was in an inner city dirty old warehouse. It smelled musty and stale. Clothing was packed too tighly on racks, falling off, piled on top and sale signs falling off stands.
A quick browse before picking up my online order and I was convinced my days of shopping at Marks are long gone.
Unfortunately I had to go back another day to return my purchase as the quality was disapointing.
No browsing this time.
Equally disapointing service from two unpleasant clerks on both occasions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried bringing stroller into the store but it was it was not set up for a stroller to fit. The store could easily be wheel chair accessable if it was set up better but isles are too narrow and full of boxes for any stroller or wheel chair to fit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mark's have got a very good range of footwear for just about any job type - including the Timberland boots in the photo below. Would you believe they have been the best work boots I have ever had? After many years of use, in all seasons, I have well and truly had good value for money.
FYI, I love my toes, and am very attached to them. The boots I purchased at Mark's have (for about 5 years) been 100% reliable in protecting my lovely toes, from serious injury, I can tell you.
My experience of the staff at Mark's, was that they had some knowledge of boots. I don't believe they could recommend boots from in-depth knowledge, and years of use. I chose the Timberlands myself. If you know what you want, Mark's is a good place to get boots.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good pricing and helpful sales people. The store does not have the typical MARKS appearance but has the same products. I left feeling well served with what I bought. Needless to say it was not what I went in looking for. Definitely go back. As an aside comment I noticed the sales people took extra time with elderly folk who were maybe not as agile as others. 5 stars from me
