They are always exceptionally friendly, know what they are talking about, and can help you through almost any problem. It can be a little hard to find stuff in there sometimes, so don't be shy to ask; they will bring you what you're looking for right away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Talk about attentive. The owners of this store are VERY aware of the needs of local industry because they LISTEN to suggestions. Wasn't too long ago I was looking for a pen magnet... an item typically limited to geologists or prospectors as they check for magnetism in rocks. I had already been to Thunder Bay and did not find it at the usual outdoor place (which always had the item until Spring 2021) , but when I visited Marino's Hardware and asked Jim, he said he had them. WHAT? And it was only $7.95. I asked Jim why he decided to stock pen magnets. He said that over the years he met a geologist who once suggested it. Awesome!
