★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Culinaire Magazine interviewed the co-owner of Alloy Restaurant and when they asked him for his go to favourites in town he cited Margaritas at Calgary Farmers Market. Went there, met Ms. Margarita herself (what a charming Lady), took home her borscht and pierogis. Just finished the borscht....it is the best borsht I have ever had and I have tried it all around the world. This is old world, old school, home cooking at its very best, 5* are not enough

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food! I love it, but I know that it would be a bit pricey since it is a local business. I loved to go there all the time before COVID-19 and would definitely recommend it if you ate at the Farmer's Market.

Every time I go, everyone insists I should try something new but I ALWAYS refuse because I swear you make some of the damn best Perogies I have ever had. I literally will never pass up an opportunity to eat here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The borscht: delicious. The schnitzel: sublime. The cabbage rolls: flipping amazing. All of their food is fantastic. They are one of my favourite places to eat at the market, and the people working are always very friendly. Absolutely lovely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The borscht is delicious. Unfortunately when I buy the frozen borscht it is in a plastic container where the borscht is frozen. So when I de-thaw it small tiny plastic is mixed in with the soup. 5* for the soup but no stars for the container it is packaged in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got the village special here and it was delicious. Let alone...the workers here are super friendly and funny. There is enough flavouring in everything. I would recommend the specials..so you get to try a bit of everything. It averages out to be $15 for a full plate, which can seem a little high. They also have frozen perogies that you can purchase for home.
