★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very small family kitchen in the back of a grocery store. Limited seating since there is 4 tables, but they make up for it with good service and delicious food. Tried the pupusas revuelta and chicken tamale. They pupusas were prepared fresh and were delicious. The tamale was reheated but was also delicious. I would back and ask for take out.

Compared to so many other merchants with similar activities, it’s easy to understand why this store is still standing and thriving after 20 years!
As a matter of fact, many have come and gone around this little store. None have come close of achieving what this little bodega offers. The customer service for example, is miles above the competition!
Also the attention to details, the freshness of it’s perishables and the vast and diverse inventory of products from all over the world, make this a staple for the Latin community of Montréal.
I really admire this store and it’s owner because they both prove that quality and excellence can, and must be provided to our community at all times, as it should always be.
This man cuts no corners, and he expects the same from it’s partners and providers.
A visit to this market, for me, it’s like a finding a little piece of my own country (El salvador), here in Montréal!
NOSTALGIA ALERT: with all the original products of my youth available, the welcoming service, the food and the music; each visit is a heart warming event!
