My visits to the restaurant have never been a disapointment. The small town hospitality is unmistakeable, and always enjoyed. A full range menu awaits, and never fails to satisfy the appetite.
Its a great destination for a moderately long cycling tour from Winnipeg

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here is quite delicious, and has been quite consistent with the quality since I was young. The only downside is that Marchand has horrible service, and the Marchand Inn has absolutely 0 cell connection, but other than that, the food actually makes up for lack of cell service in my opinion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eclectic decor, tasty food. Large servings, friendly staff. I ordered a double burger and the beef patties were 1/4 pound each. My friends orders looked good too. I should note that if you're not a fan of crude humor, do yourself a favor and don't read the wall art.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped by for some cold beer and left super impressed with the variety they carry on hand. These guys got awesome operating hours which is unheard of for a small town. It's about time Marchand has something good going on. Cheers ? to the new management team!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there to try their poutine. I heard about it while reading about #poutinetrail. Quaint, tiny little restaurant. The server seemed to be new, and we could hear the ladies in the kitchen discussing (bickering) about how to make the poutine. Finally, we were served. It was okay. Nothing to write home about. Not necessarily worth the trip out to the middle of nowhere.
