Awesome caring staff and inspired Chef Kevin! Mom is so happy since she moved there and of course she did not want to go at first. Class act where caring for our elders is carried out in comprehensive way with a generous heaping amount of generalised empathy from all staff. Best managed according to a geriatric Psychologist that works in most of them!

Great company to work for! I have been working at Maplewood Retirement for over year. The company and management teams truly appreciate all the hard work and genuine care our staff have for our Residents and their families.

EXCELLENT Retirement Home - Mom lived at Maplewood first in independent care and then with assisted care. The staff could not be better, They were cheerful, attentive and caring. Frequently going above and beyond. There was good variety of activities and excellent food. The only shortcoming is the bathrooms which are not appropriately designed for seniors - they are very small with no handrails within reach of the toilet. The only bathrooms which were large enough for wheel chairs are within the suites which are too small for wheel chairs. Also very few suites have ensuite bathrooms, most suites have bathroom as far from the bedroom as possible

He says the meals are great and laughed that his clothes are getting tight and he's gaining weight . I can't wait until this is all behind us and we can come and share a splendid meal with dad. As well he always says the care is great. Thank you to all who have helped make dads transition smooth. We are so grateful. Our family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for the excellent care that ALL of the staff have been giving to our mother. The transition from the family home to Maplewood was made so easily due to the friendliness of ALL the staff towards her. She certainly feels part of this family community. This has been a huge comfort to us. In all of our interactions with the staff we have felt listened to and know that when the staff speak of our mother they know who she is and admire her as we do. In these challenging times we appreciate the extra efforts that have been made to make our mother safe and happy. It was very touching for us to see the staff join family members in standing outside below Mom’s room to sing Happy Birthday for her 102nd birthday. The warmth and good humour of the staff is a great pleasure for Mom and for us. Working at Maplewood is wonderful! Great teamwork amongst all staff! I love getting to enjoy the same meal as the residents for my lunch delicious and appetizing! Maplewood has such a warm welcoming atmosphere. I am so grateful to be working with a GREAT team of individuals and thankful to have the opportunity to meet the wonderful residents here. I look forward to continuing my career with Maplewood retirement homes. :) Kristen

Feels like home! Exceptional People reside here and there is excellent team work amongst all staff. I am having a great time working with the management team as well. I would defienetly recommend this home to people who are very close to me.

Maplewood feels like home the moment you walk in. From friendly team members to happy & fun residents. The activities and events are always a great time. I highly recommend this choice of home for your loved ones. They will both be well taken care of, supported but also have loads of fun!
