I was looking for a shop to fix my right hand drive vehicle.My friend told me i could go to this shop and get it fix. The shop was great, is just not so easy to find this shop on Google search.

Today, I brought my 1997 Suzuki Carry to Maple Import Japan Automotive Inc. to install a 2" lift kit and a pair of heavy duty front coil springs. The owner of the shop by the name of Taka performed the work himself. Taka completed the work quickly, professionally, and inexpensively. This shop was recommended to me by Vancouver Velocity Cars in Burnaby and I couldn't be happier for bringing my truck here. Taka completed the work quickly, professionally, and inexpensively. His shop is organized and clean. As an owner of a JDM truck, I highly recommend all owners who require service to their JDM truck or auto to seriously consider having work done here. Taka is a no nonsense, straight shooter who will do whatever you need done honestly and at a reasonable price.I have more work that needs to be done and I will make another appointment in the near future. He has a network of other shops in the area who perform specialized work (such as muffler repair) and will send you there if he thinks they can do a better job than him. Taka also has contacts in Japan and he can bring in whatever parts you may need for your vehicle.

Honest, professional and customer oriented mechanic！ I own a subaru forester and was advised by a "tech" at a Richmond dealership that I had a head gasket leak on the right and quoted me 3K for everything while I was there for a maintenace. I brought into a second dealership for a trade in appraisal and was told that I was misinformed by the Richmond dealership. Good news was cost to repair was significantly less but still major work needed to be done. I shared my issue with coworker who's crazy fan of Subie and he gave me the address of this auto shop. Later in the day, I brought my car to Mr Taka. He did not mind the fact that I came in only half an hour before shop close and started his inspection. In the end, he agreed with the oppinion of the 2nd dealership I went to and pointed out that the leak was really minor and I could actually waited until my car reach 100K or even 150K to do some major work like head gasket replacement all together. All I need to watch for is the engine oil level. He also helped me check if there was a recall for a valve as I could possibly have this repaired at no cost by any subaru dealership. I walked away without being charged in the end, deeply impressed and inspired by his honesty. I told myself, this auto shop has all my business going forward. I really hope anyone or business that doesn't take any "short cut" toward success achieve what they deserve. 诚信,专业，为客户着想的匠人。我是一位斯巴鲁森林人车主。早先，在列治文的一家4S店做保养时被“检测”出气缸垫右侧漏油。这个店管我要3千刀竟然！我本想着干脆卖给经销商修理换新车，但是另一家经销商在查看车况后告知我，之前的4S店告诉我错了。实际毛病不在发动机垫片，是其他地方漏油，但也属于挺大的工程了。不过好消息是花费要比先前的3k少很多了。工作时，跟一位斯巴鲁狂热粉同事聊这个问题，同事便向我推荐了Taka先生的店。因为平时还要上班，到了先生的店的时候已经距离关门还有半小时了。但是他并没有介意，马上开始了检查。最终结果是，先生同意第二位机械师的看法，但是漏油相当小。Taka建议我等到10万公里或者15万，不得不换发动机垫片的时候一起修掉这个小毛病。他还很热心的帮我查询了是否有任何关于发动机阀门的召回，因为这样可能意味着我一分钱都不用付就能修好！他建议我平时只要多注意发动机机油就可以了。临别，先生分文未收，他的诚实让我印象深刻并深受启发。我告诉自己，我的车以后就只在这家保养修理了。我真心希望任何不想因为渴望成功而寻求“捷径”的个人或者企业得到他们应有的。

Great service! Although the garage was already fully booked, Taka suggested I drop off my 4Runner and see if he could fit in the work. He did manage to find time. He has very fair prices, is honest and does great work. He also great to talk to. I would be happy to recommend Maple Imports to all my friends and family.
