We LOVED our stay in the cabin. The grounds were clean and showers hot and it felt secluded and quiet. Despite some hot days the cabin was cool and kept out the noise from our neighbours at night. Highly recommend staying here - it's so much better than tenting!

Very clean cabins and facilities is a plus. The cabins are very quiet inside, and the undercover area is quite large. There are a few downsides though- There is little to no privacy and there are no fire pits. For some reason the majority of the cabins don't face the lake. I hope that the landscaping will be improved to maximize privacy, and minimize views of parked cars.

It is really amazing to go to Maple Bay cabins. It is not very far from the city and just an 1.5 hour drive from Vancouver. Nestled to one corner of Cultus Lake, so it is far from the very crowded picnic spots. However it is on Cultus Lake so do not expect to be completely cut off from the world as their will be a fair bit of campers around. The cabins are neat and clean and have a covered space with a table in the front. Nice to sit and watch the rain or makes a good place for cooking and eating meals. Cabins are heated and they come with a bunk bed a single and a king (Sleeps a family of 5) Cabins are heated and have plug points. You will need to carry bedcovers, blankets and pillows. Washrooms are common and not attached. Common washrooms are equipped with hot water showers and flush toilets. The staff can provide with gas fire pitt (rent for a cost) not very sure about ice and fire wood. But shops are not very far and you can drive down to the main cultus market about 10 mins to pick up necessities. Great location to spend some time on the lake for paddle boarding, boating, kayaking, swimming (no life guards so be cautious), splashing around in the water and best place for skipping flat stones on the water.

Good place for kids, and away from amusement park feel of Cultus Lake. Access to water is good, water float toys and rafts work well here. Nice, new grounds and cabins. As noted, there is only one fireplace for 25 cabins, many people had propane fireplaces that they have brought in. Only one wall plug, but it has usb ports, so you don't need charger blocks. No table or hooks inside the cabin means everything is on the floor, but there is reasonable floor space. There is no privacy at this site, the cabins are all within 20ft of each other. The site is well suited to groups occupying multiple cabins. There was a large group occupying 6 cabins when we stayed, plus other smaller groups. There isn't much for bike trails in the immediate area, too steep for young kids, suitable for 8-14 year old kids for point a to b trips, nothing worthy of a family ride. We found our cabin was not well cleaned, dirty under the beds, we found three different socks from previous guests. The washrooms appear to only be cleaned in the morning, and needed more than this. There is only one family washroom and it wasn't particularly clean, and the door didn't close or lock for the whole week I was there, which made it very challenging to use with two young children. In the COVID era, I definitely would have preferred if the washroom design was a row of family washrooms with doors accessed from outside so as to limit passing other guests, maybe a good design tip for the next facility.

Nice cabin close to the boat launch. The Beach is closed rocks everwhere.

This is an amazing experience. All rooms are brand new, super nice, heating baseboards, lighted and in nature beauty.

The cabins are fantastic for the rainy camping days and for those without the "glamping" equipment. The cabins are comfortable for a family of 5, as the bunk beds are a bit short for full grown adults. The cabins are spaced somewhat close to each other for not so much privacy compared to traditional BC Parks campsites. There is one 120V + USB outlet inside the electrically heated cabins. The dimmable LED lights inside the cabin and outside in the sitting area are a nice convenience feature. The cabin site location is a little tricky to find as it is located in the back side of the main Maple Bay campsite. Follow the map provided carefully as Google Maps does not show this level of detail. I would recommend this cabin site for families with younger kids.

Nice and clean. No need to bring mattress, just bring sheets and pillows. Heated cabin and good insulation, can't hear outside noise. All 25 cabins altogether have its personal beach area to use. Bathrooms and showers were decent. Overall good experience.
