They are very professional, on time and gave us a full written estimate before any work commenced. George and Evan did a great job leveling out the wave in the roof with their double strapping system. The old roof was out of flat by 2 1/2" in more than one spot! The new roof is perfectly flat. They also installed new fascia and solid pine soffit on the dormers, installed new siding on the dormers and installed seamless eavestrough all around. We’re exceptionally pleased with the results and we get many compliments from random strangers who have passed by. We are very impressed with George and Evan's attention to detail, courtesy, and professionalism. They were always on time, worked safely, and had professional tools for the job. We were provided with a solid quote and contract before the work began and they stuck to it. No surprises whatsoever. We highly recommend hiring Manitoulin Timber Frames for your building project.

In that time he has crafted a very functional and artistic timber frame structure for our back entrance that supports retaining walls and adds aesthetic appeal to our whole house.(no nails- hand crafted pegs throughout) He has built a standard stick frame garage that is extremely functional and has some very appealing timber frame style features that he built into it- as well as using a lot of local wood that we had on hand. Finally- George has installed new windows and replaced all the siding on our house- suggesting and adding in many features that will make the siding and windows last much longer. When you sign a contract with George- there are no hidden surprises-He is very punctual, professional and is a true craftsman. When he is finished- everything is done right- he does not compromise. We wanted a "statement" entry on the front of our house to give it some pizzazz! We found MTF on line and after looking at the testimonials and pictures, I gave them a call. George was very polite, knowledgeable and helpful on our first call and I had a gut feeling this company wouldn't let me down. George continued to be courteous and accommodating with all my many questions and tweaks of the design.
