★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The trail is great but by the end we felt like we had experienced the hunger games against the mosquitoes. My kids have never seen me move so fast during a hike, lol. The trail it's self, while short is great for kids, but like I said the mosquitoes are brutal!!!! Our memories here will forever be that we survived the bugs. Running out of the brush at the end, the mosquitoes continued to tailgate us , right into our vehicle. Its was worth the one time experienced to say we did it. Only two parking spots available. No fee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful woodland. Rugged trail hardly visible, but the marked trees were helpful. Good little hike in a quiet scenic area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean trails, quiet and a nice relaxing spot for a nature walk. Needs better parking. Seen wild Turkeys but not much wild life there. Trails can get flooded at times. Overall a nice place to just get away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic little nature spot for a hike. Trail not paved and can be muddy in sections but is flat, short (only 20-60 minutes to walk through depending on pace). Great opportunities to see a diversity of native trees, shrubs and plants. Lots of cool fungi too.
On a record hot day, it was much cooler in the forest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quick 1.0km loop with lots of stumps set out on the trail to explore on. My kids love this little trail as it's quick, it's got lots of different trees, and greenery in the spring, trillium flowers are everywhere in spring. Enjoy it. Quick and quiet!
