M	Mike Schindelka on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best Asian buffet I have ever been to. Their food was on par with upper quality non buffet Chinese restaurants that you could find in Vancouver. The quality and choices available were amazing. The staff were friendly and efficient. The inside decor was astounding. They have selections for everybody and appeal to every taste. I highly recommend this restaurant

I have some concerns about the food, and I spoke to the manager. He was so nice and friendly introduced the food to me. Definitely I will come back again.

The staff were able to give my group a separate seating section apart from other dinner guests. The service was excellent as usual and the food…the best! Thank you Mandarin Kanata for making our wedding reception so delicious.
G	G D L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have decide to order my new year eve meal at the Mandarin, depicted the volume of order in line the food was provided with an acceptable waiting time. The quality of the food and quantity was excellent. The manager of the place which was in the kitchen making sure the order were treated well and efficiently was on my book one of the best Manager I have ever deal with. I recommended this restaurant with a 6 stars on a range of 5.

It was my son's 15th birthday. My husband called to ask about what is done for birthdays, and they said nothing, but they take a picture (?). My son wanted to try it out, so we continued with the plan.. When we arrived (first time eating in), we saw signs saying they celebrate birthdays. My husband told a couple of staff we were celebrating. No one ever did acknowledge, or take a picture (not sure what this would have involved anyhow?). Not a huge deal, but this is the first place we have been that does nothing for birthdays (or do they? It's not clear). Also feel as though providing masks to wear while selecting from the buffet would make sense, since they provide gloves (we brought our own masks). Food was fine, and my son did enjoy his meal. But it's not inexpensive, and we're unlikely to dine in again.

Make sure to make a reservation in advance, especially for the weekends and special events. It's very clean and the staff are friendly. Great place to take the family or a date. They also have great take out for a good price!

Unfortunately their buffet is very limited for vegan options, but they made me a stir fry a la carte which was perfect. When I arrived, I advised the server and the manager even came to talk to me. Very grateful for this.
