C	Cheryl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been taking my grandkids to the Brampton facility for many years. It was great when we first started going there but through the years the service has deteriorated. When the school reopened last year (2020) I enrolled my younger grandson in the lessons again. We had about 2 lessons and then, due to Covid, there were further restrictions put in place. I received an email out of the blue to tell me that they had to remove my grandson from the lessons due to capacity restrictions. I called them the ask them if I will be considered as priority registration for the next session because I want my grandson back in. They plain told me that only those that were currently enrolled would have priority registration. I made it clear to them that I did not remove him from swimming lessons, that it was done for me. The person said that she would discuss it with the manager and would get back to me. I have never heard back. Now its opened back up and I registered my grandson again, due to limited facilities offering the Red Cross swimming lessons. Just about everyone is new, so they have lost their old staff. The service is just not as good and the dressing rooms are not as clean as they used to be. There is hair everywhere. Also I see parents going into the swim area with their street shoes on all the time when they should not be and no one says anything. I am so disappointed with the facility. If I can find another facility taking registration and offering the Red Cross swim program I will leave Making Waves.
J	Justine Tomines on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is solely based on my experience with registration. I am extremely disappointed with attempting to register my child for parent and tot class. I contacted the location via email and was told the specific registration date and that I should go in-person or call to register on the date. As I work, I could only call, so I called the moment the location opened. They didn't answer. I left a voicemail, and called many times throughout the day with still nobody answering the phone. Around 4pm, I got a call back and the person told me that the class I wanted was not available, and then questioned why I didn't register online instead. I was/am extremely frustrated because had I been told in the previous communication email to register online, I would have. Instead, I am left with no class for my child. I gave two stars instead of one because after I emailed a complaint, somebody did email me back, rather than just not replying. I completely understand that classes fill up fast, but the fact that I was proactive to register, yet I was told the wrong information is extremely disappointing.
G	Gurminder Purba on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and lots of times four the various levels. Max 3 kids in each class but can get private classes for only your kids if you want to. Everything is clean and staff relay progression directly to parents.

My review is based on the registration process and depending the way the front desk/instructors work in Brampton location. Registration : There is no place to use your refunded credit. You have to do a full payment to book a slot for next session and then call back/email to process the refund and use the credit. They can't do a simple refund. Being a Business Analyst this is the most bogus process I have ever seen in any customer facing system. Front Desk/ Phone Call : People sitting there are either some college kids or fresh out of college IDK, but they way they work is not something they really want to do. People come here and pay a hefty amount for each season so customer service itself should be lot better. Instructors : In the first season my wife was not sure whether to go for next season as we were not happy with the outcome but in next season we got a better instructor who understands what the child need, how to interact and keep him engaged.

I heard really great reviews , but unfortunately I dint achieved any progress. It's better you learn in a community centre.

My niece had learned to swim here years ago too, before COVID, so it’s nice that the quality didn’t dip when things reopened. As accommodating professional as ever. Recommended.

All of the instructors are wonderful and skilled and the front desk folks are also great to deal with. The change rooms are clean and spacious. Highly recommend this location to get little ones comfortable in the water.
M	Mariana Velez on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ my daughter recently started lessons here and so far my experience with regards to the staff has been exceptional, specifically Roman. I had the pleasure of speaking with him several times and he was extremely professional and demonstrated a willingness to help. he was proactive in the solutions he offered and patient and knowledgeable while walking me through my options. As someone who works in customer service this is the level of customer service clients expect. The pool can be a little busy but it likely has to do with us taking evening classes. Nonetheless all the staff there from front desk to the instructors are awesome.
