I have ordered several items from their website and not one item has shipped when they say it will ship. The seller has often just generated a canadapost shipping label to give the illusion they have shipped your item, but Canada Posts delivery status remains "Electronic information submitted by shipper". I understand supply chains have been affected by COVID but all It would take to keep my business is some simple communication!!! A simple email letting me know they are awaiting stock to come in. An up to date inventory status of each product on their website? If I'm going to wait this long I will be ordering direct from Prusa in the future.

My daughter ordered a 3D Printer from Makerwiz. All emails were ignored, she was told it would take 4 weeks but after two months had no choice but to contact her credit card company to reverse the charges. She made several attempts to contact him before doing so, and heard nothing back. So much for supporting local business!

I was looking to buy a Prusa i3 MK3S 3D printer. It is one of the most popular (in demand) 3D printers, and it is not easy to find one, specially if you live in Canada. You need to wait and pay for import fee once it is shipped to you. Impressively Makerwiz delivered an MK3S to me in one week. I’ve just finished thoroughly testing my 3D printer (Prusa i3 MK3S ), and it is working very well. I am impressed! Based on my research, Makerwiz is one of the best 3D printer supplies in Canada. If you live in GTA, this company is the best. Here are a few points I learned after my experience with Makerwiz : 1-You get an honest and accurate pre-sales consultation. The owner, Peter Lau is an extremely knowledgeable and technical person. He knows 3D printing very well. He makes honest recommendations. 2-The company has an inventory of hard-to-find and good quality 3D printer supplies. If you live in GTA, you can easily pick up what you need and avoid shipping costs and dealy. 3-The company brings good quality products at a fair price. They are experienced with assembling 3D printer parts, so what you get will be hassle free. 4-They quick response to emails. I did lots of research to find the best 3D Printer suppliers in Canada. I found Makerwiz is my best option.

Update: Peter at Makerwiz followed up on this issue and sent out a new probe. Thank you! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am very dissatisfied with Makerwiz's services. They are very hard to reach and warranty is non-existence. I have waited more than 6 months for a replacement probe for my Prusa Mini. Prusa had told me to follow up for a replacement with Makerwiz as they are the dealer and I had bought it from them. I gave Makerwiz a very generous amount of time to send me a replacement and asked for a follow up every two months and Makerwiz would reply back that Prusa did not send it out yet. Now, it has gone to the point where Makerwiz would not even bother to reply back to my email. I had to message Prusa to follow up with this issue for me. Luckily, I had my conversation with Makerwiz documented about the replacement probe and forwarded the conversation to Prusa. Prusa decided to send out a replacement on behalf of Makerwiz due their incompetent service. I find it very ridiculous and frustrating that I had to wait more than 6 months to get this resolved by Prusa and not Makerwiz. It is better to be honest to your costumers that you cannot fulfill their request than having your costumers wait and ignore them.

I would give Makerwiz 6 of 5 stars if I'm able to. They were very helpful and professional. I'm very satisfied with the prototype that I needed to be printed. I'll highly recommend Makerwiz.

Ordered a prusa printer more than 2 months ago, everytime Peter has a different excuse as to why he isn't shipping the printer. If I knew this I would've ordered at one of the other suppliers.

I called at least 6 places that sold 3D printers in the GTA and Makerwiz was by far my best experience. I called to inquire about 3D printing in general and to get more info about a Prusa I3 as this was the machine I was leaning towards. At other stores I called, I dealt with sales staff who provided vague answers and blanket statements i.e. β€œyes this is the best printer in the world and it can print any filament type” even though they were describing a subpar product according to reviews on other sites. When I called Makerwiz, I was surprised to find I talked to someone who clearly knew his products well, afforded me the time to go into details, and was a maker himself. He talked me though the similarities and difference between various printers such as the Ender 3 V2 (even though he doesn’t sell them), Anycubic Mega S, Prusa i3 MK3S+, etc. I didn’t feel like I was being forced to a more expensive printer, rather I was provided all the information I needed to make an informed decision. I was given a heads up that the Prusa i3 printers required 2 – 3 weeks to be brough it prior to making any purchase. After I made my purchase, I decided to buy the additional textured sheet and couldn’t find it on the website, so I sent an email to Makerwiz asking how to purchase it as well and if the prusament filament I was after was in stock. I received a message back about 10 minutes later, which is an unheard-of response time. I was emailed an invoice for the filament and sheet which was incredible convenient for me. Ultimately my printer took closer to 4 – 5 weeks to arrive, but that is no fault of Makerwiz and entirely due to issues outside of his control. I called once to check in on the status at the end of week 3 and was given an update. Considering the printer comes from Prague, 5 weeks is reasonable given the global pandemic. After owning the printer for about a month and over 100 hours of printing, I’m very satisfied with my Prusa printer and glad I spent the extra money to buy a quality product. Best quote I heard to date regarding 3D printers: β€œIf you want a printer to make your projects, buy a Prusa. If you want your printer to become your project, buy another brand.” Pros: -Top notch customer service -Easy transaction -Transparent about wait times -Easy to get in touch via phone and email Cons: -None!

The people at Prusa are the best. Their personal support gives me trust and the confidence that I made the right decision in purchasing the MK3S. They helped me (with explanation and video) when my printer had an issue, it turned out to be loose screw. I bought the Kit Version , I'm not really a hands on type , but with the detailed instructions I was able to assemble the printer. We have just ordered our 2nd bunch of Prusa filament ( the quality is very consistent) , my Son enjoys the toys that we print. The quality of the prints are really nice, the retractable Light Sabers and Pokemon characters are some of our favourites. I highly recommend the Prusa products. Greg
