But the winner was Brie Fondant. General Tao was bit sweet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing food, great atmosphere, and a long list of drinks to choose from. My wife is pregnant so they special-made a non-alcoholic cocktail for her that was delicious.
Highly recommend the brie appetizer and the Honolulu Fried Rice when you visit. We were able to get in on a Friday night at about 7pm without a reservation. It did get busy quickly so make a reservation to be safe.

I came over with my family (wife, 9 & 2 yo kids) since the beginning we got a great table next to the window and they accommodated a baby chair for us. Then the waitress came with a bottle of water and walked us through the menu. We then ordered the tomohawk pork, the beef ribs, the canard poutine and a pizza. Later on, we ordered a lime gelato, crème brûlée and the cake with ice cream for dessert. For drinks the amazing limonade an a beer. We all loved the food and the friendly and kind people ensuring that everything was ok; in general amazing experience.
So, at least for us, the Maison Livemois is hands down a must if you are visiting Québec City.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place looked cool and from the outside peeking into the windows it was definitely my style cocktails being poured at the bar. We sat at the bar and Remy our bartender poured amazing and delicious craft cocktails with the overall favorite being the Romeo & Juliet. The featured poutine for Poutine Week was so good the beef just fell off the bone. I'd recommend making a reservation because the whole place was filled. Definitely stop in and spend some time here! Great vibe and good music!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the best meal of our 5 day visit. Really great vibe, good service and delicious food. I had the Korean Short Rib that wasn't really a Korean cut, but rather one large rib that was braised to perfection and served on top of piping hot truffle mashed potatoes - yum! My husband had the duck leg which was cooked perfectly as well. We had the chomeur pudding with vanilla ice cream and it was also the favorite dessert of the trip. The gin mules we awesome too. We had early reservations (6pm) and our food was served very quickly, but this is the perfect place to linger for several hours over shared plates and drinks. Looking forward to going back.
