Good portion sizes but food lacks taste. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was NOT it.

Very cheap food ( price wise and taste wise) I got sweet and sour chicken so I expected some chicken in my dish but I couldn't find it under all the breading some were made purely out of breading. Everything was drenched in an American style sweet and sour sauce. Buns that I also ordered seemed to be frozen before and everything gave me a very bad aftertaste of not so fresh food . Simply don't eat there it's a waste of your time and nerve everyone who gave this place more then a 3 star review is certainly delusional. Edit: the day after i was sick food poisoning

Friendly staff. Food tasted okay. Definitely seemed refried. I got the fried chicken over fried rice and chilli chicken. The chilli chicken was just chicken, no rice. Chilli chicken tasted good.

Good: wonton soup, fried rice, fried dumplings and chow mein. Not so good: Egg rolls were burnt and not very good as a result. Overall it was decent but not great.

Wish i would have read the reviews before spontaneously ordering here and if I could give less than one star I would. General Tso chicken and noodles were inedible and ended up throwing everything out after three bites. As another reviewer said the "chicken" in the dish was non-existent and was all tasteless flour batter covered by an even worse cornstarch sauce. Live and learn type of experience.

95% bread 5% chicken in each piece of sweet and sour chicken balls. Might as well take a loaf of bread and make peanut butter sandwich

Fair price and looks good but lacks flavor, and some dishes where strange. Generally, I think it's a classic case of their Cooks not tasting the food before they send it out. Case in point, the Singapore vermicelli looked good but had no flavor to the extent that I actually had to throw it on the stove top and fix it up with some olive oil, curry powder, cayenne pepper and salt to make it worth eating. Most of the other dishes had the same problem - minimal flavor, apart from the general Tso's chicken which tasted like heavily breaded chicken balls in a sweet and sour sauce, with a liberal sprinkling of canine power on the top which was strange and did little to improve the flavor. Seems clear they don't really put much emphasis on flavour or ingredients. Shame, not sure why restaurants like this don't follow the basic tenet of tasting the food they're making, before sending it out. Have had similar experiences with other Chinese restaurants in the area, and have yet to find one that’s consistently good, like the ones downtown. Looks good but lite on flavour.
