Stay away from this place! Even if you are really sick and this is the only place left on Earth, you're better off avoiding this place all together. When you arrive on time for your scheduled appointment, be prepared to sit and wait anywhere from 30-45 minutes before being shown to an examination room. Once in the exam room be prepared to continue your wait for another 10-15 minutes before the doctor comes to see you. This is not an occasional occurrence here. This is pretty much standard operating procedure for this place, happens regardless if the waiting room is full or empty and occurs practically every time I have been there. So unless you have a half a day to kill... Now once you do see the doctor, be prepared to deal with a doctor who doesn't appear to listen to you and your medical issue, who doesn't seem to care and who also, before you even tell him, already has decided whats wrong with you before you're done trying to describe your issue and usually just ends up writing you a prescription. Also, because it is now a training clinic, you never see the same doctor more than once. If you need to go back for the same issue or follow up of some kind, you will see yet another doctor who is a resident and in training who will simply re-do what the last doctor(s) did and you will find yourself repeating your story and having to repeat procedures/tests etc again and again until you feel like a hamster on a wheel going around and around. And even though I am supposed to have a family doctor, because its now a training clinic, I haven't actually seen my doctor in a VERY long time; its always someone new and they always just re-do what the last doctor did...until today when I was told that they were sorry, there is no magic wand or pill and because they can't figure out whats wrong that there's nothing to be done and that I just have to live with a medical issue that I have been trying find a solution to for years now. All in all this is a very poor place to come for any kind of medical help or attention. In my opinion you'd receive better medical care from a Boy Scout with his or her First Aid badge than you'll get here. You'd be better off going to a shaman, a walk-in clinic or a Vet because honestly, after today, I wouldn't even take my cat there!! Stay away!!!

Don't bother coming here. For an in-person appt I had to wait an hour, then another 45 minutes in the office waiting for the doctor to come in. Even after the doctor comes in he uses my time to talk about how many e-mails he has and doesn't even listen to my needs and I have to repeat myself multiple times. Reception never answers the phone and even when I had a phone appointment I had to wait over 3 hours from my scheduled time to speak to my doctor. Absolutely ridiculous.

I really like my doctor but the reception staff are pretty bad. They can't be bothered to make simple phone calls to advise that appointment time has moved. Unapologetic, rude and don't have the basic curtesy to call and notify me that my appointment time has now changed. " Well she delivers babies at the hospital" is not an appropriate response when a patient calls 20mins into the communicated time. Approximate time is not meant to cover a gap of about 2-3hrs in time. Small things make a very big difference in the tone of the interaction. Being snarky isn't going to lead to positive patient interactions. I would suggest a major overhaul of the training medical receptionists receive in Maple Ridge because most offices have the same bad reviews of the reception staff.

Front counter staff are rude (unprofessional). So many others have had similar experiences and it doesn't seem to ever change. There are SO MANY other clinics - i suggest trying somewhere else

3 days to have a phone call from your doctor but you can go to a medical clinic and see one right away. Pathetic, will be looking for a family oriented doctor who wants to help people. It’s all about money not care.

Reception for Dr Diana is horrible they never answer. I have even trying to get a hold of the office for a simple prescription refill since Tuesday the 12th of April. it's now Monday the 18th and still no luck. Today I spent 45 minutes going from the mainline to the extension then back to the mainline 45 MINUTES STRAIGHT AND NOT 1 PERSON ANSWRRED THE PHONE!! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!!!

From the moment I filled out my pops medical application to be a patient of Dr.Diana Samarakkody, I have had fantastic service. The receptionist was accommodating and super quick to reply to emails and calls. Dr.Diana and her staff have been on the ball with all of the changes to my pops meds and arranging specialists for him. I couldnt be happier with this office. *Its shocking and seems unbelievable to hear the negative reviews, because we have had nothing but the best experience here.

This clinic has the absolute worst reception my spouse and I have ever encountered. They are rude, sarcastic & they hang up on people. If you're even one minute late they put other people in the room and then your stuck waiting God knows how long. They have zero emotion and look mean and angry all the time. I stopped going to this clinic due to the receptionists (who should be fired and replaced with people who like to work or can actually smile at patients) and due to a dr comparing me questioning my symptoms to inmates in Jail wanting a second opinion.
