B	Belle Knowles on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst curly cut of my life!! I got my hair cut in August 2021. I showed him a picture for reference and told him I wanted about 1/4-1/2 an inch off the ends and I wanted bangs. My hair was so uneven! I will never go back or recommend them to anyone!

I was a little nervous to see someone new and arrived prepared with probably too many Pinterest photos. Not only was she attentive And focused on my ideas of what style I was hoping for, she was genuinely kind and calm. I felt relaxed and at ease! She could probably tell I was a little anxious and was very nice and gentle with every step of the cut and style. I left the salon with exactly the hair I had dreamt of. Not to mention feeling like a million bucks! ?Thank you, Franciele and Maffeo Salon!?

Brian cut my hair and I'm so happy and thrilled to find a hairdresser that understands my hair. Love my results and throughly enjoyed the engaged connection and conversation! I'm looking forward to my next visit. Highly highly recommend!

I had been letting my hair grow out for about 6 months from a bad haircut at a different place and was finally ready to get it fixed. I wanted curtain bangs and some added texture to my hair, I brought in a couple inspo pictures but neither were exactly what I was looking for. I also showed her a photo of how I like to style my hair. She listened to everything I wanted and didn’t want from those pictures. Then she talked me through the entire process, showing me ways to style my new hair at home and how to take care of it. Crysta was so incredibly kind and made me feel very welcomed, the whole thing was a lovely experience and I definitely can’t wait to go back!!

Brian the owner is an all around great human being, they ALL are!! I know exactly what I want as I also managed a hair salon in NYC and worked with top notch stylists and not many stylist listen. A	Alana Wagg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ CURLY GIRLS REJOICE!! I went to Maffeo Salon today for a haircut. I was terrified to say the least as I have had terrible experiences in the past with hairstylists. So much so that I hadn’t been in for a cut in years. It didn’t help that in Nanaimo there is very few salons that boasted the ability to cut curls. Krysta was my stylist and is AMAZING!!! She took the time to listen to my concerns and what I really wanted. She made me feel at ease and did such an amazing job, walking me through each step and ensuring I could recreate the final product at home. I highly recommend her and I will definitely be back! I feel so relieved and blessed that I have finally found someone who can cut my curls!
k	katelyn ward on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here for a 60 minute facial as I had a gift card. The location itself is a cute little 2 story Charter home. The staff were very friendly. I was shown around the salon/spa as I had never been there before. The room where the facial was done was very calming comfortable and relaxing. The music and the rain outside was the perfect mix for relaxation. Sharlie did the facial and wow! I think I dosed off 4 times I was so relaxed! She was very good at asking me my skin concerns prior and giving lots of advice. I have no idea what they did but I feel like there was multiple applications and an amazing arm/hand massage in between. The way she applied the product was so soft and smooth and calming. I would definitely recommend and will absolutely be back!
