Doctors are great. Reception needs to be replaced. They rather talk to each other then deal with patients. The elderly lady seems to really hate her job and life and is very rude with everyone. If doctor is not on shift they will treat you as a walk in....... I have never meet such bad receptionist ever in my life in a dr office till this place.

The staff and My Dr are both amazing, they have always been respectful and kind. Appointments are set up quickly and I actually have access to my doctor where that lacked at other clinics. Keep up the great work

Doctor's are good. The only problem are the staff. Some of them are unprofessional. Made some phone calls and they are unhappy to serve you like they are mad! My son also asked for a prescrpiption the lady at the end of thr line just said Dr. ;'&*#;is not here. Not even following up through their conversation. So my son just hung up.

I respect and support all doctors during this difficult time as I can not imagine what they have gone through, but I need to share my poor experience for the sake of any new patients seeking help from the Madigan Medical clinic. My current family doctor is MIA and after speaking to a crisis therapist, she advised that what I was experiencing was serious and needs the attention of a medical expert andΒ  she highly recommended for me to find a new family doctor and get a medical note to seek time off work as soon as possible. I looked up clinics that were close to my area and I saw Dr. Patient at the Madigan Medical clinic who was advertising he was open for new patients,Β  I called them and they recommended me to see Dr. Altalebi instead. I made the appointment and during the appointment I told the doctor that I was in a crisis and I am seeking time off work immediately as recommended by a therapist. He provided me a note requesting time off work for a week and said if I needed more time off I would need to book another appointment and be assessed, I understood and agreed to this as this was the first time we met, I felt relieved as I thought I have found a family doctor who I can depend on to see on a regular basis. After discussing my situation with my employee provided health support line, they agreed my situation was serious,Β  they fully supported me in taking time off work and provided forms to have filled out by my family doctor. I made another appointment with Dr. Altalebi advising I have health assessment forms to fill out and I was under the impression i would at least get some advice with what I wasΒ  experiencing and ways how I can get back to work as a functioning employee. When I attended the appointment, I don't think I've ever been so overlooked in my life, Dr. Altalebi already made his decision before he even walked through the door, he was cold, short and condescending. He was so upset with me he refused to provide any medical assistance. After trying my best to explain that I am in a crisis, my family doctor can't be located, I have support from therapists and my employees medical assistanceΒ  department, he still refused to take my situation seriously. I was shown the door and I ended up calling healthlink and they helped me find a new family doctor on the west side ofΒ  Calgary, I was able to speak with a doctor who was willing to hear me out,Β  interested in helping me get back to work and understood I was going through the most unstable and vulnerable time of my life. I was able to get my medical forms filled out and even though the clinic is nowhere close to where I live, now have a family doctor who is willing to work with me to get me back to work as a healthier employee. I wish no ill will towards Dr. Altalebi or his staff, and I'm sure they see their share of patients who make medical request that may not be genuine, but in my case, while I was at my most vulnerable, I opened up to Dr. Altalebi, desperately and respectfully for a medical assessment, looking for help when I needed a proffessional assessment at the most, he used poor judgment and dismissed me like I was a criminal and he made sure that's how I felt. So what I have to say is if you are someone who lives on the east side of Calgary, who takes there health seriously and is in desperate need for a professional who is willing to take you seriously and wants to work with you to get back to work, use caution when you are considering the Madigan Medical clinic. I will be submitting a complaint due to this experiance

Most uncaring receptionist ever. The older lady is horrible. We have been going there for 20 yrs. Today, unfortunately we needed stitches on a cut on hand. She refused, wouldn't let us see any doc, refused to help in finding a clinic who could do the job, just let us wondering what to do. Finally ended up at 17 Ave clinic and they happily took care of it. I would give this clinic below one star if I could.

Dr.Danji is really reliable and cares for his patients. Believe me, I've been turn away from many doctors b4 over some small complications. He'll take the time to assess your issue and give u some positive feedbacks.

horrible experience. I was there for an appointment and the lady with the curly gray hair was just so rude and had so much attitude but I didn't want to cause trouble so I kept quiet about it. A couple of people came in and spoke to her and she was being so nice to them! One thing these people all shared was that they were all white and I, a visible brown woman got no kindness or respect from that receptionist :/ ya I'm calling her racist no way this old white lady ain't racist cause she was being rude to the other POC in the room as well.

If I could zero stars I would. I was having a stroke and we went to the clinic for monitoring until an ambulance could get there. From media reporting on wait time for ambulance, we decided to go to a clinic until help came. We were told by the lady with grey hair (who has the compassion of a pea) we only have one doctor so you can sit and wait but could be awhile. They then refused to call 911 (my husband didn't have his phone) A friend confronted them the day after and here was their excuse #1 - I wasn't a patient, #2 - 911 asks too many questions. This has been reported appropriately.
