★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My in-laws took me to Madge Lake the first time almost 25 years ago. I fell in love with the course the first time I played it. Sorta funky, in that there are 10 holes on the front side and 8 holes on the back. A lot of blind tee shots that require you use a mirror on a pole to see over the hill if you are clear to hit. Almost never had anyone slow me down or run up my tail. The course layout is interesting. Greens and fairways are always in great shape. Annual passes for green fees and carts are available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Totally disappointed. Showed up for my 7 am Monday tee time. Wanted to golf early with my daughter and it wasn't even open. Not a soul in sight. Called twice then finally someone answered at 730. Said they were sorry they were at the maintenance shed. Not a very good start to my last day at madge lake.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow what a gem of a course hidden away in Sasketchewan. Challenging for sure but hats off to ground crew for the course condition. Well deserved 5 star. Wish though they had a book to describe all the holes to hand out or maps on the teas and better fairway guide markers. But all in all one of the best courses we have played on.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best golf course for hundreds of miles. Tons of golf carts. Fantastically maintained during the summertime with great food and decent drink prices. Ladies and Mens nights, lots of tournaments, and steak nights. Cross country trails with a warming cabin or 2 for the winter! Fantastic

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Challenging layout for a shorter course. Fairways are great. Greens are very plush and run a little slower than what I am used to. They do run true and slopes are very deceiving. Some of the blind holes require a look before you play them. Play the course appropriately with a variety of clubs off of the tee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great golf course for a small town area can't get much better unless you goto regina or stoon. Lots of carts and great service, staff is always very friendly, and drinks and food aren't a stupid price like many places.
