Better than any condo in downtown Vancouver.

I don't live in the building but have been there several times, it's always clean and the staff have always been extremely friendly and courteous.

i live in the building and its a great building for quality and managed . i have lived in some real bad buildings like the lido this building is great to be living in

Very good building complex in downtown Vancouver, their floor plans are relatively well designed, and the build quality is excellent. Management is also really good.

One of the best buildings in downtown Vancouver by one of the most reputable developers in the lower mainland. This is a premium building with finishings (and prices) to match.

This is a great property. I am a Maddox 1351 Continental St. unit owner. Fyi, the Maddox does not permit AirBNB short term rentals, so if you are AirBNBing with any Maddox owner or agent, you better ask for your money back and report them to AirBNB. The Maddox concierge are looking for you and will deny you access to the building. Your few days in Vancouver could be ruined. Also, if you are renting longer term via AirBNB, make sure you calculate the number of square feet that you are renting. I am aware of at least one irate renter who could not believe that the rental agency or owner was trying to pitch a one-bedroom as a two-bedroom. Whatever your status, you're not allowed to have more than three people in a one bedroom. Go somewhere else where they actually want AirBNB customers.

Nice Building but miserable to live in thanks to brutal managment company. I believe First Service runs this building and about 5 months ago fired all of the old concierge staff who in my opinion, were good at what they did, reasonable and friendly. They replaced them with a nightmare concierge/management team who will harass and interrogate you and your house guests when they enter the building, constantly monitor you and your every in and out of the building and accuse you and fine you for absolutely every little thing they possibly can. It is then up to you to contest any fines in an adjudication meeting with the strata which takes a day of your time and is totally on their terms. They will track your fob key and monitor your car license plate of you and your guests, track you back to your unit on camera for any and every little infraction you may accidentally do such as not disposing of your recycling 100% correctly and then they will return that garbage in front your unit with a infraction letter. If you don't wait for the parking gate for you or your guests vehicle to 100% close then you will be tracked and fined every time. I overheard them listening in on somebody's private call from the condo buzzer which is linked to a person's private landline/cellphone and also spoke to one of the night concierges who was new and told me that they are told to go through the security tapes for the day when they have no work to do to find people breaking rules to fine them. I could go on but honestly save yourself the hassle and move into a more chill and flexible building and maintain your freedom, privacy and sanity.

I do not know this building , but what I do know is, that security staff has no time to monitor hundreds of residents. The person whining about the fines probably got evicted for breaking every rule in the book and if she and her guests where being monitored she was likely running an ILLEGAL Airbnb or Brothel operation.... Had she done her due diligence and READ the bylaws before signing her lease, she would have known that this building will not put up with her baloney. Who needs tenants like that... I hope you found a "chill" place.
