Worst campground. It's right next to the busy highway so its really loud. People were blasting music and had fireworks going well into the night. They also have tent sites crammed in between RV sites?!? Would not reccomend.

Not much to do in the area but super park staff and friendly locals. Great place to fish.

Lots of very large sites with plenty of wooded privacy. Many are also pull through sites in the loop with electricity. Beautiful non hydro sites right in the water offer excellent views. The Park is much larger than it seems when you look at the park map because every site is spaced very far apart. We saw a lot of seasonal sites booked and can see the attraction to this park since it is right off highway 11 and very close to Nipigon, Geraldton, and Long Lac Ontario. Kenogamisis lake is huge with many arms reaching out so if you fish, canoe, kayak this would be a heavenly place to spend a summer. We spent only 2 night here as our destination is Sleeping Giant so Macleod is a great mud way point for us to stay between RenΓ©e Brunelle and Sleeping Giant. Would definitely come back again!

Nice park, big sites for rvs but bring extension cords for trailer because electrical hook up could be far away from site. Also the same for water, or first water tap you see you should fill up your fresh tank.

Worst Provincial Park in Ontario. No working showers. Terrible outhouses. Poorly placed hook ups, so you better have an extension cord. Water fill station was on the wrong side. No playground. Not all sites are large. We asked to change sites after arriving and seeing how ridiculously narrow and small ours was and the staff working the front gate was unimpressed and complained that it was too difficult for her to change. She eventually did change our site to a larger one, so thats nice. We stayed at 10 Provincial Parks over three weeks travelling through Ontario and this was by far the worst for the price.
