The walk or bike is beautiful on the way. You can make a circuit on the Riverside trail or hot one of the other bike trails near by. From the suspension bridge you can also visit loggers lake, a beautiful crater lake not far away. The trail to the bridge is shared with walkers and bikers.

Awesome view. Hearing the roaring of the river is so peaceful and relaxing. Makes you want to stay there all day long.

Perfect snowshoe spot. Decent length and not too busy.

Worth the hike but you can also drive up. It’s on your right hand side, easy to miss but it’s between the 1k and 2k mark.

After a nice walk in the woods to the Train Wreck I came up to the suspension bridge which takes you across the Cheakamus River. It is about 5 km away from Whistler Village and the walk is very pleasant. It is thrilling to walk down the bridge above the raging waters. I did this walk in June 2019.

A nice place to stop while walking along the riverside trail. The bridge is close to Loggers lake and the crater rim trail. There is nice views of the river from the bridge.

Great short round way hike from Whistler Cheakamus. Takes about 1½ hours. You can also go left after the bridge (crossway) and make your way up to Loggers Lake and back to the town afterwards. This is about 2 hours.
